This is what we’re doing inside the shop before we flip the open sign, while you’re standing out in the cold.

Who’s going to @citizentheband tonight? Murray said he’s going to crowdsurf and Pete will be standing at the back with his arms crossed, nodding his head. by @blackpinecoffee

A little love letter to our house coffee.

We had the privilege of visiting El Carmen when we went over to Guatemala with @caribbeangoods . It’s owned by the legendary Hector Leal - a name you may have seen on the recent James Hoffmann / Lucia Solis fermentation project, as those coffees came from @ruedafarms . Daniel, in the photos, manages these farms and we’re fortunate enough to be in contact with him, pestering him about what processes our coffee has gone through and giving feedback on how the coffee is roasting.

We visited a few farms while we were out there, but something about Daniel and his team resonated with us, so we couldn’t be happier to be on our second harvest with them. It’s interesting to see how the same coffee varies, season to season, based on environmental factors.

The washed H1 Centroamericano is such a versatile bean that we serve in all of our espresso-based drinks but works equally as well on filter. It’s also what we send out to our lovely subscribers each month.

Teriyaki tofu bagel (vg) from @blackpinecoffee 🥯

Loved how salty and savoury the teriyaki sauce was; it really complemented the tofu and slaw. ❤️

El Jaragual - the farm that never misses. Delighted to have a fresh crop back in the roastery, this time a washed & thermal shock Rosado. It reminds us of those rhubarb and custard boiled sweets 🍬 On the shelves and the website now! by @blackpinecoffee
