Happy International Pig Day! Our exclusive first look for ‘PIGSH*T’ is LIVE! Head over to the Astronomic Studios Youtube page and watch the full 2min sneak peek now! THE SQUEAL IS REAL 🐷💩

Synopsis:
A decade ago, Billy—a bullied, mentally challenged boy who loved nothing more than his pigs—met a tragic end at the hands of his tormentors. Left to die in the muck of an abandoned pig farm, his spirit has returned in the form of PIGSHIT, a hulking, vengeful killer who wears the severed face of a pig as a mask. Now, the same friends who once wronged him are back to party at the very spot where they caused his death. They think it’s just a scary story, but they’re about to learn the hard way: the legend of Pigshit is real, and he’s back for blood.

This was one of my favorite projects to work on this past year (with a similar project coming down the pike 👀)

I tackled product development and design for the ‘Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit’ physical NES release for @retrowaregames, utilizing the killer key art by @heyphilsummers for the box and poster layout with additional art from Mike Matei for the manual layout.

Working closely with our manufacturing team, I painstakingly went through different printing processes, substrates, finishes, and paper weights to deliver the fans as close to an authentic look and feel of an original NES release as possible. We even managed to pull off electroplating to replicate the classic shiny gold carts. And yes, there is even a styrofoam block in every box!

This was an absolute labor of love for myself and all fellow physical media folks. I hope AVGN fans and retro gamers alike enjoy this package as a whole as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Preorders have already shipped from @limitedrungames. If you missed it, you can grab a CLASSIC GREY or NERD RAGE RED cart, as well as modern physical copies for Switch and PS5 from RETROWARE.COM

The 4K restoration of Ken Russell’s The Devils was fantastic. To finally have the film together as intended was a long time in the making, but I’m glad the folks at the Warner sub label @clockwork_wb were able to finally dig into the vault and get this a properly restored release. And not only that, but to four wall it with its original NC-17 rating is wild to see in 2026. It also marks my first NC-17 feature in a theatre which is neat.

I’m really looking forward to the disc release and I’m so glad I got to catch it in the theatre.

Also, walking a nearly abandoned mall was fun and overall made me feel like I was literally out of time enjoying my own private screening.
