AI filmmaking just hit a major milestone.

Higgsfield AI has reportedly showcased what is being called the first fully AI-generated feature film at the Cannes Film Festival.

According to reports, the 95-minute movie was completed in just two weeks with a production budget of approximately $500,000—$400,000 of which was spent on compute resources alone.

The numbers behind the project are staggering:

• 61,487 AI-generated clips were created using Higgsfield Soul Cinema and Seedance 2.0
• Only 960 generations made the final cut
• Some prompts for individual 15-second scenes exceeded 3,000 words

Higgsfield AI’s CEO says the company’s next film will feature an Oscar-nominated director and an A-list Hollywood actor in a leading role.

Even more notably, several major film studios are reportedly integrating Higgsfield’s technology into their production workflows to reduce costs and accelerate content creation.

For perspective:

🎥 Traditional Hollywood films often require 1–3 years to produce and can cost $65 million or more.

🤖 This AI-generated feature was completed in just 14 days for less than $500,000.

Relying only on information available at the time, each model made a single trading decision per day, traded stocks exclusively, and managed a limited number of positions. The setup more closely resembled a controlled backtest than live trading with real capital at risk.
