We wrote music about a certain shade of pink years before Shame did, just sayin’ 😜

These two songs (recorded with the full band, props to @lucasj81 for recording/mixing/shredding) were originally released in 2017 on a split cassette with @kissing_party but I thought they deserved a separate release so it’s easier to find them.

“Prison Pink” is about a certain shade of pink meant to placate violent criminals, and how the idea may not be as effective as hoped. “Silver Strings” is about life, death and my relationship (or lack thereof) with violence after taking lots of psychedelic drugs.

Available on all streaming services. I also have a few copies of the original KP/BP split tape left, if you want these songs + a handful of rare Kissing Party gems in physical form! Just head over to BLEAKPLAZA.com

Oh and last but not least, please also enjoy the music video Lucas made for “Prison Pink”! Link in bio! by @bleak_plaza

Our scrappy debut LP, simply titled BLEAK PLAZA, features 9 post-punk rippers exploring topics like alienation, anxiety, phone addiction, talking shrubbery, and things that happen but don’t really happen.

Available digitally or on limited-edition cassette w/ bonus lyric zine at BLEAKPLAZA.bandcamp.com

Released April 15, 2017 on @first_base_tapes / recorded and mixed by @lucasj81 in his basement studio / cover painting and zine artwork by @alex.graham.artist by @bleak_plaza
