I think I'm finally understanding what this page is becoming.

Not a perfectly curated version of my life.

A place where I can experiment with who I'm becoming creatively, spiritually, financially, personally.

I don't have a five-year plan for who I'll become but I have a direction.

And I'm choosing to share the process instead of waiting until I have everything figured out.

If you're figuring it out too, you're welcome here. 🤍

There are pieces we wear because they match an outfit and there are pieces we wear because they remind us who we are.

House of Minkwé was born from the belief that fashion can carry memory, movement and meaning.

Every bag is handmade in Gabon with recycled fishing nets before crossing the Atlantic to begin a new story here, in the Caribbean.

More than an accessory, it's a conversation between oceans, cultures and generations.

If this story speaks to you, welcome home.

Available in Las Terrenas.
DM for orders and more information.

This new piece from House of Minkwé – Morning Tide was made for days like these.

Handcrafted in Gabon, Central Africa, using fishing line, each bag is one of a kind and carries a story that crossed the Atlantic to find its place here in the Caribbean.

Lightweight, durable and made to embrace the rhythm of island life from the local market to the beach, from everyday moments to sunset dinners.

More than a bag, it's an invitation to slow down, reconnect and carry a little piece of the ocean with you.

🌊 Available in Las Terrenas. Send me a DM to discover the collection. 🤍

Today we're trying canistel, also known as eggfruit, a tropical fruit from the sapote family.

Its bright yellow flesh has a rich, soft texture that reminds many people of cooked egg yolk, with a naturally sweet, custard-like flavor.

Some love stories start with a first date. Ours might have started with a really good curry. 😂❤️🌶️

We combined our love for cooking and local ingredients to create our own homemade curry paste, made with coconuts from our farm and no additives.

From veggie curries to fish, chicken, rice and plantains, it’s an easy way to bring rich Caribbean-inspired flavors to your kitchen. 🥥

Price: 250G - 1000 DOP

I want to see how far I can go when I stop limiting who I’m allowed to become.

More life. More creation. More freedom to be all of me.

Still becoming.

We don't have to choose between being spiritual and participating in the world we live in.

Our work is to transform our relationship with it and help create what comes next.

Building a life that feels good to wake up to.

More nature, more presence, more moments like this. And someone to share them with. 💞

Women have been taught to question the beauty they were born with.

Our hair, our skin, our bodies… so much of what makes us unique becomes something we're told to change.

Just love yourself queen 💞

The way you start your day matters.

Not because you need the perfect routine but because you’re already becoming someone through the way you live today.

Water your life.

One tiny berry. A whole fruit FEAST. And suddenly… sour tastes sweet?! 🤯🍋🍍

This little berry contains a protein called miraculin, which temporarily changes how we perceive sour foods, making them taste sweet.

So naturally, we had to put it to the test!

Which fruit would YOU try first?

Not performing.
Not trying to look a certain way.
Just feeling my body and letting it move.

Still becoming. Still learning how to feel at home in my own body.
