🚨 GUEST TEACHER NEXT WEEK 🚨 We are excited to have the one and only Errin Delperdang filling in and teaching class next Thursday while we are in Omaha! Don’t miss the opportunity to drop into sensation and intention with Errin. Guest Class with @delperdangit Thursday, October 22 10:00-11:30am @eastsideperformingarts_atx $10 as always — link in bio ABOUT CLASS: “Let’s get deep, get curious, and have some fun! Movement with sensation steering the wheel. We will start with a somatic warm up and move through choreographed material with focus on how it feels and where in the body it is coming from.” ABOUT ERRIN: @delperdangit has been dancing around Austin since 1999. Over the years she’s danced with Austin movers and shakers including Dany Casey, BLiPSWiTCH, Alyson Dolan, Ellen Batel, Lindsey Taylor, Carolyn Sutton Clark, and Lisa Del Rosario and made many dances for Austin and New York stages. In 2015 she was certified in DanceAbility, an all-ability improvisational dance method and this practice informs her work as a dance and movement instructor. She is passionate about health education, advocacy, and access. In 2022 she founded All Pelvic Health, a physical therapy practice specializing in all inclusive pelvic health, pregnancy support, Pilates, and sex education. For Errin, dancing informs the way she approaches all aspects of her professional practice and personal relationship with her community, her body, and her spirit. Photo: @bysarahannie by @blipswitch

It’s back! Making Space will return in October 2026 better than ever. Save the dates: October 23-25! ✨ Now in its sixth year, Making Space is a performance festival, produced by tbd. dance collective, featuring a curation of choreographic works created by local, regional, and national movement artists. The purpose of this festival is to provide a platform for movement artists to present new work, explore the process of developing choreography, create connections among artist locally and cross-regionally, and offer educational workshops to foster a collective celebration of dance within our community. This year, tbd. has partnered with Omaha Performing Arts to host Making Space Dance Festival at Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement. You’d never know there was a dance performance happening inside this Austin office building. BlipSwitch turns unexpected spaces into stages, and this time they built a site-specific contemporary dance performance inside a vacant office. The audience sits around the space while dancers move through doorways, along walls and sometimes just a few feet in front of you. Once the performance starts, you stay in your seat, so you’re constantly deciding where to look as movement happens around the room. It’s definitely a niche night out. If contemporary dance or experimental art isn’t your thing, this probably won’t convert you. But if you like creative, intimate performances and seeing ordinary Austin spaces used in completely unexpected ways, this one is worth considering. Worth Going if: you like your art Austin weird. 🎟 Starts at $35 📍 Austin 💃 BLiPSWiTCH 🎭 7 performances remain #austintx #atx #austindance #contemporarydance by @blipswitch

BLiPSWiTCH presents An Orchestra of Supergiants September 16-19 + 23-26 8:00PM (doors 7:30PM) Tickets are going— link in our bio / blipswitchmovement.com— so don’t miss out! Join us next week! The latest site-specific dance production from BLiPSWiTCH places the audience and its ten performers on the third floor of an office building, countless rectangles framing and defining the space. ‘An Orchestra of Supergiants’ is a live archive of déjà vu: accumulated movement, sound and gesture that shape our personhood and reveal how little of human existence we are able to hold and perceive. It’s not about the office, but it is about how even our own memories are an echoing variation on sameness, eroding and distorting with each return until we are no longer able to feel their totality.  “We observe a fraction of the process, like hearing the vibration of a single string in an orchestra of supergiants.” - Stanisław Lem This performance considers the built-in blind spots of its location… not only integral to each audience member’s unique experience but reflective of the show’s thesis. We hope you will join us in embracing these fleeting, hidden moments; that your curiosity brings you back in search of missing pieces, finding them revealed from a different angle while others fall away to memory.

She is a dance artist, educator, Pilates instructor, and mother who holds an MFA from Hollins University and BFA from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She regularly works with McCallum High School and Vandergrift High School setting choreography on the dance students every year.
