Thank so much for all the beautiful bday wishes! ☺️🎉 I read each and every one. My birthday has always fallen during one of the busiest seasons of my life. I’m usually moving, creating, planning, pouring into others, and already thinking about what’s next. But maybe that’s exactly why this season has always felt like mine.

It’s my season to create, collaborate and execute.

Right now, I’m just grateful. Grateful for life. Grateful for growth. Grateful for another trip around the sun.

Clarity. Gratitude. And a whole lot more to come. ✨ by @blissfunktional

My heart is just FULL!! I insisted on sharing this movie moment with women I love…family and friends who have poured into me over the years. That was what I wanted for Christmas. I got even more than that. In the spirit of The Color Purple and what the movie was giving, we laughed, cried and felt the love of family, friendship, sisterhood and so many other good vibes. I’m forever grateful for the moment and each and every one of you. Nothing else can make this holiday season more special!
💜💜💜 (Tag others!)

As someone who can probably act out the entire original film with no script, I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The actors did a phenomenal job of making each role their own so I feel no need to compare! There were still those nostalgic moments and I was so glad they didn’t even try to do certain things too much like the original. I loved that many aspects that we had to read between the lines in the original film were put right in our faces this go round. And of course, the cherry on top for me was the SANGIN’ and bomb choreography by my fave! (Fatima Robinson) This in no way replaces the classic for me. (It was never supposed to.) I can definitely add this to my rotation! #thecolorpurple by @blissfunktional

We are ready for Kindergarten! Now is Kindergarten ready for us?! 😎 by @blissfunktional

This second go round was a trip! Someone made a slightly early appearance on July 8th. (Just missed his brothers bday) He looks soooo much like his big brother who is taking good care of him already! And he already has a sense of humor because I def sent my team on a 10 minute break from a virtual meeting and he said Mommy I’m coming! Done told the people to take 10 and never went back to work cause this kid has been calling the shots since!😅 smh

Thanks to my hubby (he prolly sicka me lol) , family and friends for holding it down or being in the wings whenever we needed anything. 🙌🏾

Meet Xyon💙💙💙 We hit 1 month yesterday…Happy 1 Month baby boy! #boymom by @blissfunktional
