💜As a DV survivor of 15 years who endured physical pain, please remember not all wounds leave bruises. Not all abuse leaves visible scars.

Some of the deepest wounds are inflicted through words, manipulation, humiliation, intimidation, and silence.

Sometimes, the damage happens so gradually that a strong, intelligent, independent woman begins to question herself.

Her confidence fades. Her voice becomes quieter. She starts apologizing for things she never did wrong.
And when she finally finds the courage to speak up, express her pain, or defend herself, she is too often judged for her reaction rather than what caused it.

Emotional and psychological abuse is real. And its impact can be devastating, even when there is nothing visible to photograph.

Love should never make you feel small, afraid to speak, or constantly uncertain of your own worth.
Love should bring peace, respect, kindness, emotional safety and freedom to be yourself.

This October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, let’s remember the women whose battles cannot be seen.

Believe them. Listen to them. Support them.
A woman should never have to be physically hurt for her emotional pain to matter.

💜As a DV survivor I pride myself on offering a SAFE HAVEN for all my clients. My studio is a place where you can tell me everything, never be judged, always felt heard and I PROMISE I’ll NEVER let ANYONE hurt you! 💜
