POSTS STORIES REELS

✨Let‘ play 2 truth - 1 lie in the comments!✨
———
I think that the start of the new year is the perfect time to reintroduce myself. I think I haven’t done one of these posts since I started and that was over 5 years ago 😱
I’ve been in Bookstagram for a long time now and so much has changed but I am so happy that I decided one day to just go for it and make an account. I found amazing friends through this app, went to awesome events and sooo many amazing books have been recommend to me here. I am very happy to be a part of Bookstagram 🥹

✨Are you excited for a certain book this year?🥳
——
2026 is definitely one for the books (see what I did there 👀). There are soooo many cool books coming out in the next few months and this post doesn’t even include second volumes 😱
I can’t pick a favourite for 2026 but I will of course keep on posting my monthly new release posts for you so that you can be up to date 🥰
——
And for my German followers: ich habe heute schon ein bisschen an einem Post gebastelt wo es nur um Übersetzungen etc geht also ihr könnt euch auch auf etwas freuen 😍

Do you have any goals for 2026?🎯
———
January is almost over and mayyyybeeeee it’s a bit late to show you my 2026 goals but who cares??🫣
Tbh I love goal setting but I am actually bad at also trying to achieve said goals but I want to be better at it this year (another goals *yeah*) 🙂‍↕️
—
If we talk about bookish goals I definitely have some 👀
✨Read my 26 for 2026!
Last year I asked some friends of mine for their reading highlights that year and I decided to read them all this year. Of course I also added the next volume sometimes if I have read the first one already and I also decided to pick some new releases and TBR books for this challenge. So far I’ve already crossed of two books and I loved them both.
✨Finish 20 bookseries
This was also one of last years goals (which I did not manage to achieve) but I have wayyyyyy to many started series and it’s time that I finish some of them.
✨TBR under 90
If I could make a wish then my TBR should be less than 30 but we should keep it realistically but I still hope I can have less than 90 on my TBR at the end of 2026.
✨Read at least 60
That one will be easy and no need to talk more about it.
✨buy more consciously + read without pressure
These both go hand in hand as I noticed that Bookstagram and booktok sometimes had a bit of a hold on me. I bought way to many books (look at my TBR) and I also sometimes read stuff that I wasn’t in the mood for because of hypes. That I want to change this year.
——
My personal goals are a bit of a different story and I will take you along in my stories while I am trying to achieve them 🥳
——
If you’ve read until here than congrats!! I tried something new with my captions and I hope you like it. Maybe drop a ☕️ in the comments so I can see if anyone even reads this 😂

What book do you want to read in November?🧺
———
This month will be very stressful with final exams for me but nevertheless I decided to build a little monthly TBR for me. I focused mostly on short books and some that I am very very excited about. Tbh I think I managed to put a good stack together ✨

I also want to read some ebooks which I couldn’t show you in this reel:
✨Beneath a midnight moon from @catherinecowlesauthor
✨Princess of Lies from @alyssapickeringwrites
✨Fervor from @megsmitherman
✨This wretched alchemy from @tinamarsbooks

If you’ve read any of these already then please tell me (even if you want to rant about them 👀)

Note: some of these shown books are review copies

What’s your bookish horror scenario?👻
———
Happy Halloween bookish friends!!🎃
This post is inspired by my bookish horror scenario that happened last Wednesday night: I was reading happily and tucked in in bed already wayyyy past my normal bed time and then my e reader battery was empty 😭
Tbh I really need to remember to charge it more often but the battery life is Long so I just forget about it from time to time 🫣

I hope you have a nice evening and only get treats and not be tricked 🙂‍↕️

Looking at you Sarah J Maas, Cassandra Clare and so many more 👀

And I mean everywhere. Amazon, Thalia and even the library 😭

Or even worse: your grandma recommends you a book and it’s SPICYYYYYY 🌶️🌶️

Send your condolences to your local fanfictionfanatics🪦

The best way to spoil yourself 🤪

Happens very often with older German translations 🥹

Happend to me yesterday! I thought Crimson moth was a duology. Apparently not. 🫠

And even worse when it’s a used copy and the pages are already read so you don’t have that little gap that sometimes new books have 💀

Thank you @jackbenedwards for this 😭

… if you even get it back 👀 by @bloggerinthejogger

Have you read Dungeon Crawler Carl already?👀
———
I am soooo late to the party but I am finally here! 🥳
The hype is real my friends and tbh so far I can totally understand why everyone is hyping this up. The narrator is fun and the world is so far fairly easy to get into ☺️
I can also recommend the audiobook on audible if you have the credits because the voice actor does an amazing job! 🙂‍↕️
I am excited to continue this later tonight 😍

What’s your best bookish memory of 2026 so far?🩷
———
It’s been one week since I’ve been to the @buchmesse and the bookfair blues are definitely hitting hard at the moment 🫣
So far 2026 has been an amazing year (private and bookish wise) and my first Frankfurt bookfair will definitely hold a special place in my heart. Thanks so everyone that made this week unforgettable ✨
Hopefully next year I can go again 🥰

What was the most amount of books you’ve ever „shopped“ on one trip?✨
———
Well let’s just say that this trip was very very successful! I am so grateful and I know that this isn’t the norm. Most of these books were on my wishlist / look out for list so I am happy to now call them my own 😍
If you’ve read any of these please let me know because I can’t decide with which book I should start 👀
———
These books were all gifted to me by different publishers so I want to give a huge thank you to everyone because this is unreal! Thank you 🩷🩷

Under the iron sky and reap&sow are already on my TBR / on their way to me and the rest of them goes straight to my wishlist 😍
All of these sound sooo good and hopefully some dayyyy I have a smaller TBR and more money to buy them all 💀

My feet hate me but it was an awesome first day at the bookfair! 😍
I meet so many nice people (again), saw some wonderful books and overall just had a great time. Tomorrow I will be back and I can’t wait to explore a bit more (and maybe even buy a book) 🥰

Do you already have a reading highlight for 2026?✨
——
I finally caved and read The Knight and the Moth and it was amazing!! So happy that I picked it up! Now I only have to continue reading the second novel which I started directly after finishing book one but haven’t picked up since 🫣
My reading month is a tiny teeny bit late but I thought better late than never 🤪
