A week of pure creation with Blood Moon Hex

…when a band fully immerses in their craft — away from the noise, close to the earth, close to their own creative fire.

Blood Moon Hex spent a week with us at ColiBrio, turning ideas into songs, jamming late into the night, writing, experimenting, and letting the energy of the lake move through their music.

Moments like these are why ColiBrio exists: to offer musicians a space to breathe, dream, and create freely.

We’re so honored to have witnessed their process and can’t wait to see what blooms next.

This is how a rooftop session looks like at Colibrio.

Rain clouds rolling in over Lake Atitlán.
The scent of wet earth in the air.
Soundcheck blending with thunder in the distance.

And Blood Moon Sex recording live on the rooftop — raw, electric, and fully alive.

There’s something about playing music with this view that makes everything feel more honest. More powerful. The lake doesn’t just witness it — it amplifies it.

Stay tuned. This session is something else. by @bloodmoonhex

Blood Moon Sex has landed at Colibrio for a full week of creative immersion — and the energy is electric.

Their days are filled with long jam sessions, deep dives into songwriting, and spontaneous magic in the studio. You can feel the passion pulsing through the walls as they shape their sound, layer by layer, beat by beat.

In this clip, catch a glimpse of them in their element — practicing, experimenting, letting the music lead.

This is what a week at Colibrio looks like: pure focus, full expression, and a space that holds it all.
We’re so honored to host their creative process and witness what’s unfolding. by @bloodmoonhex

This week we welcome Blood Moon Sex @bloodmoonsex — a band as wild and mysterious as their name.
They’ve landed at Colibrio for a full week of deep dive: writing, exploring, listening, feeling.

In these photos, you’ll catch glimpses of their process — moments of silence, brainstorming on the porch, scribbled lyrics, shared laughter, and the kind of chaos that only means something beautiful is being born.

They didn’t just come to record. They came to live their music — and that’s what this place is all about. A full-body, soul-deep immersion into sound, sensation, and story.

Stay tuned. Magic is brewing.
