Join us Thursday, August 13th for an Open House at our Wasatch Hollow New Build project. Come on by any time between 5 pm and 7 pm to learn more about the project, connect with the project team, see the home, and enjoy some light refreshments. This thoughtfully designed home features an open concept great room, a large covered front porch and rear deck, a primary suite with laundry, a mudroom with a dog wash, and more. We hope to see you there! Planning to come? Send a message to Renovation Design Group for the address. After ➡️ before of the laundry room at our Pine House Remodel! While a shared laundry room and bathroom might seem like a good idea, the reality in this home was a room that lacked function and was full of wasted space. The existing shared laundry room and bathroom included a small pedestal sink, tiny shower, toilet, large washer and dryer, and tons of space in the middle of the room. When the homeowners decided to renovate their basement, creating a designated laundry room was a must and so was maximizing every inch. We reconfigured the layout to create this functional and still large laundry room. The space is maximized with cabinets, hanging space, and also functions as a hallway to the storage / mechanical room. And the best part might just be that the floors are heated 🔥. Have you ever seen a tractor under a house? 🚜 This home’s existing basement was partially unfinished, hard to get to with steep stairs, and extremely dark. Working with the structural engineer and @bluebirdrenovations team, we came up with a plan to change this. The first step was to excavate (dig out 🚜) the basement. This included lowering the basement floor down and installing new, taller foundation walls to get 9ft high ceilings in the existing section of the basement and excavating the existing crawlspace to create new living space. Stay tuned for the reveal later this week! Or head to our website portfolio and select Bungalow Basement Build. by @bluebirdrenovations

Including a custom built-in spot for skis! Swipe to see the laundry room before the basement remodel. Contractor: @bluebirdrenovations Photographer: @nataliebergerphotography by @bluebirdrenovations
