Today marks the arrival of the second single from trio @bluec_ommunications Simple Delight is immediate and unflinching, driven by the urgent roll of the drums and a taut, propulsive bass line. A song about anti fascist action and queer punk culture. It illustrates not only the band’s versatile sound but breadth of influences.  Drawing inspiration from cruising, beat culture, the film “Antifa: Chasseurs de Skins” and Audre Lorde’s’ “The Masters Tools Will Never Dismantle The House”. Through Billie Burrow’s lyrics and wonderful vocal performance, Simple Delight eloquently highlights the connection between these influences, whilst musically joining and enriching the rich lineage of antifascist music. Both singles are available for purchase and streaming through our Bandcamp now ➕ Thanks to all those who pre-ordered as well, they’re available for download now 💙 You can see the band play on Saturday at Blue Evening for @cease_and_desist__ & @mom_publishing 🔹 by @bluec_ommunications

@bluec_ommunications are our new favourite band, so it would have been criminal to let them escape without sharing some secrets. These are their top five records to get your body moving, plus a lil surprise at the end. Born from early morning rehearsals in Melbourne’s north, these three have quickly made a name for themselves with jangly guitars, wonky grooves, tape-warped ambience and some very beautiful noise thrown in. Loose, instinctive and a little too easy to sway along to. Consider their picks a little warm-up for the hooves. First release tickets are live - link in bio. 🐷 by @bluec_ommunications

We couldn’t be happier to be kicking off our artist introductions with @bluec_ommunications. Our little valley on Nacki Nacki Farm set to be the perfect backdrop for their sun-soaked stories this Spring 🍃 Blue Communications deal in the kind of instinctive chemistry that only arrives before the rest of the city wakes up. Formed in Melbourne’s northern suburbs in late 2024, the trio started rehearsing in the early morning - surrounded by coffee cups, half-eaten pastries, and amplifiers. By the time they played their first show at the Tramway with Kisses in February 2025, they’d already settled into a shared language ~ loose, immediate, unfussy. Influenced by the skeletal minimalism of Young Marble Giants, the jangled drift of The Clean, and the experimental tension of John Cale, Blue Communications move between experimental noise, sparse pop signwriting, tape-driven ambience, and blown-out guitar music. Since forming, Blue Communications have shared bills with acts including Carla dal Forno, Mess Esque, The Native Cats, and R.M.F.C. Their self-titled debut album, released through Southern Exposure and Program records in 2026, has picked up airplay on Triple R and PBS FM, alongside international love from London’s NTS Radio.
