A UFO, a plane and a shooting star in the same frame!!! WHAT ARE THESE THINGS???? Last night got a little western.

Last night got a little weird. I went out to look for an Owl that was in my backyard when I spotted things moving in the night sky… Many things. I couldn’t see these objects with the naked eye and I could not explain what I was seeing. They all acted differently and were just glowing orbs in the sky. They were not bugs nor bats. They were not planes or drones. At least not ours…👽 I was in absolute awe watching these things through the @atncorp thermal.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was a cool evening with minimal cloud cover. It was also a full moon. These objects were high and would go behind some of the clouds. They sped up and even slowed down to a near hover at times. They zigzagged and turned on a dime and some seemed to intelligently interact as objects flying together. I have zero clue what these were. I took multiple videos over the course of about an hour and I saw about a hundred of these things. They were EVERYWHERE! When I tried zooming in, they simply looked like a glowing orb. In one frame, you can see a plane with an orb to the side of it that moves to the front of the plane. In that same frame I caught a shooting star. It’s pretty wild what you can pick up in the night sky with a hand held thermal optic.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I live in the country and I don’t have any air traffic around me and it’s usually a very dark night sky without a full moon. The date was off on my thermal, it was 10/06/25, not the 7th.

PEACE AMONG CHAOS.

In the wake of storms, tragedy, stress and despair, we can still find peace among the chaos right here.

We finally caught a break in the wet weather this week. Even with a little smoke still hanging in the air, it made for some incredibly dreamy conditions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Short on time, we made the most of it - scouted some nearby ground, burned a little oil in the Chevy, and spent the evening with my wife. Even though she’s camera shy, I snuck one in of her laughing at one of my dumb jokes 🤫. I have to give her credit though, she absolutely nailed these shots of me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It felt damn good to get back out with the camera again, even though I’d much rather be behind it than in front of it. If you’re a one-man operation, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Sometimes you’re the photographer, the driver, the model, and the editor all in the same afternoon.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m looking forward to kicking off this season!

This Memorial Day was for lack of better words memorable. For 28 years dad and I have hunt turkeys together. We had never doubled up on gobblers whether for misses or other reasons. After yesterday, we can no longer say that! What an awesome hunt! Hopefully the next one doesn’t take 28 years! by @blueline_bowhunters

This Saturday is PA’s opening day of Spring Gobbler! Our @moultrieproducts cams have been tracking our target bird, Big Daddy! We’ll be hoping in the @grizzlycoolers blind in hopes of seeing him with the @mossbergcorp shotgun! Good luck everyone! #SpringThunder @mtnops by @blueline_bowhunters

These spring mornings have us reminiscing.
The season is nearly here and we’re ready!

What’s your next move???
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the last day of your turkey season and it’s 11:00AM. You’re on the way home from the morning hunt and you come upon this scene. You stop to glass the field and notice there are no posted signs. Nearby on a fence post you see a co-op sign, meaning hunting is fair game. You were on your way home because you figured it was over for the day, but things change on a dime.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the @huntwiseapp you see that there’s a very thin wood line on the right that separates properly lines and the birds are 200 yds away. On the backside of the property, it’s all woods for about 500 yds behind the birds. It’s going to take you 30 minutes to get around where you can get parked and quietly enter through the back of the timber and hope nobody spooks them from the front.
What’s your next move?

This is the equivalent to playing under the lights.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To some people it probably looks simple… maybe even strange. But for those of us who live for these moments, this is playing under the lights.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the early mornings, the missed opportunities, the quiet sits, the miles walked, and the patience that finally pays off.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That night wasn’t just about the buck.
It was about the work.
The friendship.
And the kind of memories that only get made long after the sun goes down.

As we approach the nicer weather, I’m reminded by how much I cherish organization when it comes to my truck. Whether it’s spring turkey season or we’re headed on a camping trip, it’s easy to stay organized with the proper gear. There’s nothing better than a clean truck where it’s easy to find the thing you’re looking for.

The moon is full.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No distractions. No expectations. Just the sound of your own heartbeat and the weight of the world you carry on your shoulders.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Out here, under that pale moonlight, he isn’t a title. He isn’t a job. He isn’t anything the world tells him he has to be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The woods remind him of something the world made him forget.
