STEMHEADS! IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP! “Hard Reset” is out We wanted to make a record that would redefine our sound. We felt like there was more that people hadn’t heard yet. So we made this 10 song album that focuses on our indie rock side while also having melodic hardcore moments. All songs written by BLUESTEM. Lyrics by Braden Poitras and John Andrew @johnxandrew - vocals, guitar & piano @blackmaskvandal - vocals @chad_martens - drums @reesemichael_ - bass @mills_ryan - guitar, vocals on Ferris Wheel Big thank you to our 6th member Felix @littleredsounds who took good care of us in the studio and helped us achieve something that we’re very proud of. @littleredsounds - producer and engineer @suitesoundlabs - mastering Cover art by @johnxandrew @blackmaskvandal by @bluestemband

“Sore Eyes” has been out for a couple weeks—if you haven’t heard it yet now’s a good time to take it for a spin 🛻 #newmusic #vancouverband #vancouverindie by @bluestemband
The sun is shining in Vancouver and we’re really excited to share our new song “Sore Eyes”. This song lives in the in-between. It’s about the slow burn of change, the weight of wanting more, and the quiet resilience it takes to keep moving forward when nothing’s certain. Being tired of working the same mundane day to day job. Feeling like sometimes you have to just sleep it off and smile through it with sore eyes. Time keeps moving, and so do you—changing, growing, carrying new weight with each year and the tension between who you are and who you’re trying to become. To keep going, even when it feels like you’re standing still. 📸 @alonsorecavarren #newmusic #alternativerock #vancouverband #vancouvermusic by @bluestemband
