🚴‍♂️ Meet Jez Tate. 60 years young. 8,858m of climbing. 3rd in his age group. One incredible achievement. ⛰️🔥

Over the past six months, Jez has put in an incredible amount of hard work preparing for the Everesting World Championships on Mount Etna, Sicily.

And the results? Absolutely phenomenal. 👏

When Jez first joined BM Performance Coaching in March, the goal was simple: bring structure, consistency and purpose to his training.

Fast-forward six months, and the progress speaks for itself.

📈 Significant improvements in power and fitness across the board

⛰️ 8,858m of climbing across 253km.

🥉 3rd place in his age group at the Everesting World Championships!

🚀 A new Everesting PB of 16 hours 8 minutes — approximately four hours faster than his previous attempts!

💪 And all of this at 60 years old!

But don’t just take my word for it. In Jez’s own words:

“The two biggest improvements in my training after starting with BM Coaching were structure and accountability. The difference in my power numbers speak for themselves.”

“I’m so much fitter at 60 than I was at 52!”

“If you want to improve your cycling fitness, I could not recommend a better coach than Ben. The training plan is excellent and tailored to your lifestyle. 10/10 for everything.”

Jez, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with you, mate. You’ve shown exactly what can be achieved with consistent, intelligent training and a willingness to put in the work. You should be incredibly proud! 👊
