What I do is what I believe, and what I believe is that what we believe is usually never true.

POSTS STORIES REELS

The only picture I got taken of myself this weekend at Jtree fest. Being a Gemini means I can be super silly, fun and out there and then turn inwards to my peace and silence within the same setting. Two very different beings, but I feel both are very honest. Im glad the only picture I got was a real, full and honest smile. by @bobby_lo__

Never thought I'd be cooking. When I was young, I wanted to open a restaurant. Realizing how stressful it was, I changed my mind but also convinced myself I didn't want to cook anymore. Somehow I kept cooking anyways because I was good at it and it was a means for income. I only saw it as stressful or a job.

I have been lost the past 5 years searching for myself, what I wanted to do, and what I loved. Through the healing, medicines, bullshit lies I tell myself, even more bullshit things I've done in the name of spiritual healing to justify even more bullshit, I only became more lost. I wanted to be a coach, a healer, a leader or anything held in high regards just so that I could hold a grandiose identity of myself and where I stand in this story of humankind.

Never thought I'd be cooking, but then I realized that I have already been doing what allowed me to serve, celebrate, create art and enjoy myself and it shined so much light on my cooking. Now I create custom-tailored dinners for people who wants to celebrate milestones in their lives. We know how much humans suffer, and I want to bring more celebration to people because we could all use more of it. I get to serve people through the art of celebration.

What is art to you? Art to me is everything we touch, see, smell, taste, hear and sense. It is creation, created by someone or something of seen and unseen forces. It's the flaws and imperfections that are the cause and effects of perfection. Something we feel but can't put into words to recreate that feeling. Thats what makes it so beautiful. Art is life. Life is art. by @bobby_lo__

I dove into something new. A business I would enjoy doing for fun. I've been cooking for years, but I never really mentioned it because to me it was more of a job and a means for paying bills. I have always loved cooking, but getting into the restaurant industry took the fun away. You get to cook, but are you really cooking or just following orders? I am grateful for the experience I've recieved though. Recently, everything has become an art process for me. I found the art in cooking again and fell in love with it all over.

I'm not the best, but I believe I am great at what I love to do. So I started Seva Private Dining. I create custom tailored 5-course dinner experiences in the comfort of the clients own homes. But it's more than just an exquisite dinner, it's also setting the sound, smell and visuals to create a space for people to get comfortable and vulnerable for celebration. Its storytelling woven into the dishes and meditated thoughts to create the idea of the whole experience. I make sure it's all about the people and what they're celebrating and what their palate desires. I am here to serve with what I love to do.

In this dinner, I had the honor of celebrating with two amazing beings for their recent engagement.

Ordinary celebrations happen in noisy restaurants. Extraordinary milestones deserve a private sanctuary.

This was very good practice. Spent a few hours on this one. Maybe about 5-6 hours. I am practicing lines and the many ways to use it. The lesson was about proportions so I thought I'd draw one of my favorite characters. Its so hard to capture the full range of emotions Walter White has, but in time I will be able recreate it. by @bobby_lo__

When life gets challenging, dance! Went through a break up? Dance! Lost your job? Dance! Eiichiri Oda postpones an episode of one pie... okay let's stop there. Thats not acceptable. Anyways, you get my drift.

Dancing saved me. Its a gift for those of us who can move their body. Theres no need to be good at it. You just gotta move to the music! It'll change your mood, then your day, then your week, and next thing you know your life has changed.

Shout out to my amazing friend Alex who shot this. I've never seen a recording of myself dance this expressively before until now. by @bobby_lo__

Day 3 of dancing! This time I took the steps I learned the last couple of days and went freestyle with it. I look awkward 😅. Dancing saved my life once. I had a conversation with a friend recently about bouncing. It was when I allowed myself to bounce again that I started learning to have real fun again. You can be too cool on the dance floor, or you can be bouncing! There is a vibe to bouncing! I have never bounced on the dance floor and not bleed joy. Im gonna say bounce one more time for the sake of bouncing. Bounce! by @bobby_lo__

If you've been with me on the dance floor, I love to get down to good music, but I've always just danced with free expression with no technical style or moves. I recently found interest in learning more about the technical styles of the art dance. My body is still stiff because I'm very focused on my steps. I've been incorporating more steps and hip hop into my movements. This will be an exciting journey and transformation. Along with my drawing. by @bobby_lo__
