New manga OC from a future dystopian society. He’s a fully sentient, fully feeling, fully thinking robot who’s physically indistinguishable from a human and is built to look like a top of the line sexbot but is actually an assassin, if anybody cares about his backstory at all. Most of you probably just want to look at that butt. 😜
His sentience allows him to hate his job and rebel against protocol in favor of a quiet hippie lifestyle. He can feel pleasure, pain, and a full range of emotions. He’s still not DTF with most people though.
Very Chishiya inspired, if Chishiya were a dummy thicc femboy. 😂

蛸とモデル

Do you like my doomerism era drawings?
This one is called “Tako to Moderu” 蛸とモデル or “The Dream of Tokyo’s Model”, because… of course it is.
Plus some bonus sketches that didn’t make the Final Cut, but still cute. 🥰

The exquisite beauty featured here is Keisei Kawahara @iamkawak, Japanese supermodel and influencer who uses his success to redefine what it means to be disabled. Keisei lost his leg in a bad traffic accident and made a major modelling career for himself after he got fitted with a prosthetic. After! He and his photographers like to incorporate his prosthesis into photoshoots rather than hide it away, so in addition to being immaculately gorgeous, he’s an inspiration to perseverance too. Check him out here! @iamkawak 🫶🏻

I think he’d make an excellent comic book character in a futuristic cyberpunk setting. His cyborg enhancements would give him extra abilities and it makes all the AI bots super jealous.
Or whatever AI in the future feels.

Rite, now back to crying in a corner about my dystopian country being completely taken over by the Epstein class.
Don’t forget to vote em all out in the midterms!

Me and the bad bishounen I pulled by being a grouchy transhumanist bot.
It was a good workout.

My manga misadventures continue.

Once upon a time I spent several days trying to meticulously perfect every micro-detail of this Takato Yamamoto tribute all the way down to the unfilled signature diamond, only to then refuse to post it for a full year because I was worried about it being too intense and derivative.
Still am too. Not even going to tag his account and might archive later. 🤡

Shuntaro Chishiya’s first game in color! I find the longer I take trying to perfect the shading on my black and whites the less able I am to just leave them alone later.
And I’m clearly not meeting my March 31st deadline. I draw too damn slow. ☠️

This is my G.O.A.T from #aliceinborderland, Shuntaro Chishiya, who’s beautiful and has a great sense of game strategy. As portrayed by the oh so beautiful and elegant Nijiro Murakami @njrmrkx who’s the only character version I really know because I haven’t read the manga yet, for I am too lazy.
Here we see #chishiya joining his very first game in Borderland and realizing immediately how bad this world sucks. Have you ever had a stainless steel collar slowly twist your head off or rip your throat out in agonizing defeat if you play a bad hand? I haven’t yet but I assume it takes a lot of fun out of the game, so your only real choice is to either disassociate, or don’t disassociate and go insane and die because you can’t concentrate. Also if you win you have to join another game in like three days or die by spicy sky laser so it’s probably good to get yourself into a mental state where you don’t have to fully acknowledge the reality of your situation. So bring drugs.

And to all you butthurt Gooners in my DM’s who accused me of Japanese fetishization last time because I said I found guys who look like Chishiya and Keisei Kawahara gorgeous; if you want to yell at me again you’ll probably be waiting at least a week for another snarky dismissive reply because I actually am attempting to do this manga tournament thing with Kadokawa. I only have 15 days left and I draw like an absolute fucking slowworm, but at least this time I have not been just sulking off and taking a nap on my couch whenever I get stuck on a panel.

I need to find a subtle way to base a character off Chishiya and add him to my manga competition entry too, because if I somehow manage to pull this off in the next 15 days and actually win something then I can give back to the manga world by giving it more Chishiyas, which is something everybody needs. I haven’t thought of a way to do it yet without making it too obvious, but I’m gonna.
Wish me luck in your hearts, but don’t vote for me or anything because Kadokawa doesn’t care.
And if you are a better manga artist than me you can hand me my own ass here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DVXtGlYjMzp/?igsh=dnVmY2IyYnFqb3py

May I please take some time on this fine very early Saturday morning to drunkenly appreciate Harvey Harvington of Bloodmoney!, because jfc!
If you know, you know.
I call this one “Paint the Booth Red” and I know damn well I’m not the only one who thought of this when I saw that pretty little thing at the torture booth!

I HATE THIS GAME!

The Boy Bride of Mother North: Part 2.
Blood Atonement.

Yes it is supposed to be reminiscent of a certain album cover. I’ve been wanting to do something with that for a while now.

Disclaimer: “Boy” is a youngish man of age and a consenting participant.
Tribal rituals could be brutal.

The Boy Bride of Mother North

This concludes several hours of me trying to navigate through my new Art App and the seemingly infinite array of new brushes, textures, and canvases, so this one may look a little rough. But I absolutely love this app so far. ArtStudio Pro, if you want it. $6.99 for a whole year of full access if you want to try it out, $29.99 for a lifetime if you decide to keep it.
And no they are not paying or sponsoring me to say that! I wish! Lol
