What type of music do you listen to when you work out? 😂💪 by @bodybybaur

As an athlete, regression is one of the hardest things to deal with. It’s something no one prepares you for or tells you how to handle. The biggest thing I’ve learned on my fitness journey is listening to my body. People often post their PR’s but never the harsh reality of not being able to do something you’ve done before. The older I get the more satisfied I am with safe lifts focused on muscle endurance rather than maxes 🤍 take care of your younger self and your future self -lil by @bodybybaur

Stretching is often brushed off as unimportant or something only women do to gain flexibility…
Here are some benefits of stretching
- decrease risk of injury
- improve posture
- minimizes stress/anxiety
- increases range of motion
- relief from sore muscles

Some of my favorite ab exercises since everyone asks 😂I’m an old school girl nothing too crazy… I like to have either a plate or dumb bells with me to make it a bit more challenging. If you aren’t sweating you aren’t going hard enough!! I think a misconception with ab workouts is that they need to be done fast, take your time and make sure you feel it. Only you know your limits.. don’t be afraid to push them. Happy Wednesday 🫶 I’m always rooting for you
