THE SIGNATURE | CONTOUR & DRAINAGE ® 🕊️✨

This is the Body by Serica standard—my most requested method and the foundation of everything I teach.

The Contour & Drainage treatment is a revolutionary, non-surgical approach designed for those who want iconic results without the downtime of invasive procedures. It is a high-performance blend of advanced technology and manual precision, tailored specifically to your body's unique anatomy.

The Detail behind the Method:

• Structured Contouring: We use advanced fat-breakdown technology to target stubborn adipose tissue, effectively "shrinking" areas like the waist and tummy.

• Lymphatic Science: This isn't just aesthetic; we stimulate the lymphatic system to flush out toxins and excess fluid, reducing inflammation and revealing true muscular definition.

• The 8-Week Protocol: As seen here, 3 areas completed over 8 weeks. We don't rush the process; we build lasting, measured refinement.

The Results:

• NO Fat dissolving injections
• NO Surgery or gastric bands
• NO Complicated recovery

NOT EVERY SWOLLEN STOMACH IS BODY FAT ❌

Your body is more complex than you think.

Bloating, fluid retention, body fat and hormonal changes can all affect how your stomach looks and feels — but they’re not the same thing.

Understanding the difference matters.

At Body by Serica Academy, I’m bringing you beyond the treatment room to explore the science behind the female body, lymphatic health, PMOS and body contouring.

Because education should come before transformation.

The Knowledge Behind the Transformation.

You can eat well, exercise regularly and still feel like something is working against your body. But have you considered your sleep?

We talk so much about nutrition, exercise and hormones, but not nearly enough about the importance of our sleep-wake cycle.

Melatonin is more than just the hormone that makes you sleepy. It helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which is closely connected to how your body functions.

And for women navigating PCOS / PMOS, this conversation is particularly important.

Research has explored the relationship between disrupted sleep, insulin resistance, metabolic health and reproductive hormones.

But here’s what I really want you to understand…

Your hormones don’t work in isolation. Neither does your body.

Your sleep, nutrition, movement and stress levels all play a part in your overall wellbeing.

This is why I’m so passionate about understanding the body beyond its physical appearance.

Because body confidence starts with body education.

Save this for later, and tell me — are you actually prioritising your sleep? 🤍

THE SCIENCE BEHIND YOUR BODY | SERIES 01 🧬

SOME WOMEN AREN’T STRUGGLING BECAUSE THEY’RE NOT TRYING HARD ENOUGH. THEY’RE STRUGGLING BECAUSE THERE’S MORE HAPPENING INSIDE THEIR BODIES THAN PEOPLE REALISE.

Read that again. 🤍

For women living with PCOS/PMOS, insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances, the struggle can go far beyond weight gain.

The stubborn abdominal fat. The bloating. The fatigue. The skin changes. The frustration of doing everything you can and still feeling like your body is working against you.

And here’s what more women need to understand.

Insulin resistance is common in PCOS. It can affect metabolic health and contribute to higher androgen levels, which may influence symptoms and body composition.

But not every stomach is the same. And not every treatment should be either.

As a body contourist, I will ALWAYS advocate for understanding the body before treating it.

Lymphatic drainage may help certain types of fluid-related swelling. Non-surgical contouring may address selected cosmetic concerns. But neither corrects hormonal imbalances or treats insulin resistance — and not every treatment is suitable for every woman.

Because treating a cosmetic concern and treating the underlying cause are TWO completely different things.

I’ve lived with PCOS/PMOS for over a decade. And if you know me, you’ll know that sharing knowledge, educating women and helping others understand their bodies is something I genuinely stand for.

I don’t believe in keeping knowledge to myself. I believe in using what I’ve learned to help another woman feel seen, informed and empowered.

That’s why I’m creating this series.

Not to sell you a treatment. To help you understand your body.

Because women deserve more than being told to eat less, exercise more or lose weight.

WE DESERVE ANSWERS. WE DESERVE UNDERSTANDING. AND WE DESERVE TO BE HEARD.

If this helps even ONE woman understand her body differently, it’s worth sharing.

Send this to a woman who needs to hear it. 🤍

A little love and appreciation this Monday. 🤍

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the incredible women across the beauty, aesthetics, body contouring and wellness industries?!

The talent, the quality of work, the knowledge, the creativity, the dedication and the genuine passion behind it all… honestly, some of you girls are absolutely SMASHING IT! 👏🏼

It’s beautiful seeing so many women building businesses, perfecting their craft, supporting others and doing what they genuinely love. Our industries are growing in such amazing ways, and I’m so grateful to be a small part of it.

And to all the lovely clients supporting us, THANK YOU.

You have so many talented professionals to choose from, and I never take it for granted when you choose me.

And to those choosing someone else? Thank you too! Because you’re supporting another woman’s business, her passion and her dreams.

There’s room for all of us to grow, succeed and be celebrated. Someone else’s success will never take away from your own.

Here’s to more women supporting women, celebrating each other’s work and genuinely wanting to see one another WIN!

Keep shining, girls. I’m rooting for you all! 🦋

Love, Serica x

I genuinely thought buying a machine and attending a one-day training course would be enough… 👀🖤

When I first started body contouring, I didn’t realise just how much there was to learn beyond operating a machine.

Years later, I’ve learnt that body contouring isn’t just about WHAT you do. It’s understanding WHY you’re doing it.

The anatomy. The techniques. The different body types. Knowing when to adapt your approach and understanding what each treatment can realistically achieve.

Every body is different, every technique has a purpose, and every movement should be intentional.

And that’s exactly why I’m so passionate about what I do today.

Because whether you’re learning from me or lying on my treatment bed, you deserve more than a one-size-fits-all approach. You deserve knowledge, care and expertise.
