BOOK REVIEW📚 📖 When They Don’t Love Jesus: Stories for Children Who Love the Lost ✍️ Renee Emerson & Will Dobbie 🎨 Christa Seaman 🗓️ November 9, 2026 📚 @livingbookpress ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is such a blessing to celebrate the upcoming release of my friend Renee’s book that I just know is going to be such a wonderful resource for Christian families. I wish I had a book like this when my boys were little and we were beginning to navigate the very questions this book addresses for young believers. The book is specifically laid out to engage families with a relatable story, followed by a prayer, Scripture, and talking points to continue the discussion. The stories are intended for children, but let’s be honest, as adult believers it still grieves our hearts when family and friends do not profess Jesus as Lord and we too can find encouragement in the pages of this book. These stories will guide you into important conversations as a family that will equip your children to witness to those they love who are not Christ followers. You can preorder the book now. I’ll share the link in my story and save it to my LBP Story highlight. Thank you, @blossomingthroughbooks and @livingbookpress for a complimentary copy of this wonderful book! ❓Is this on your family TBR list? by @bookishbethc

I learned so much and will definitely be reading this one again in the future. The ending brought me to tears just as Revelation 22 always does. Come, Lord Jesus! I also must tell you that the quality of the paper and binding of this book and so many other Crossway books is truly unmatched. Crossway books are made to last and pass down generation to generation. Thank you, @crosswaybooks for a complimentary copy of this incredible book! ❓Is this on your TBR? CURRENTLY REREADING 📖 Yes, hi, it’s me once again rereading Pride and Prejudice… but this time it’s the annotated edition and that’s a first for me. 🤓 I am LOVING it! So many rich details and notes plus I am digging the layout (text on the left and notes on the right). Nerding out over one of my favorite books all over again right about now! ❓Have you read the annotated P & P? by @bookishbethc

FAMILY DEVOTIONAL ✝️ 📖 Made to Marvel: 52 Family Devotions Exploring the Wild Wonders of God’s Creation ✍️ Eryn Lynum @erynlynumauthor 🗓️ October 27, 2026 📚 @revellbooks I am always on the hunt for a great family devotional as my family spends time reading together at dinner each evening. Made to Marvel is our next book to enjoy together and I can’t wait to get started. This devotional is sure to be a favorite of my whole family. Thank you to the author and publisher for a complimentary copy of Made to Marvel! 🦔 From the Publisher: One of the primary ways God reveals his power and love is through creation. Yet as packed schedules and passive screen time take over our kids’ attention, they are less and less likely to spend meaningful time outside experiencing creation firsthand. Made to Marvel helps families encounter God’s goodness in his creation where they live—from daisies to skunks and inchworms to frogs. Written by a certified master naturalist, biblical studies graduate, and mother of four, this captivating devotional puts a special emphasis on observation—learning to notice the intricate details of God’s handiwork every time you step outside. As kids begin to see evidence of God in the natural world, they will ● learn nature lessons through relevant, memorable visuals ● grow in their God-given sense of wonder ● strengthen their faith ● develop a lasting desire to spend time in creation Whether you’re a homeschooling family looking to integrate science and faith, a parent who wants to turn everyday outdoor moments into meaningful conversations, or simply someone who wants to cultivate wonder and curiosity in your kids, Made to Marvel is the family devotional you didn’t know you needed. ❓Are you experiencing fall weather where you live? by @bookishbethc
Come with me to see the new film adaptation of one of my favorite novels, Sense and Sensibility! What I Loved- The cinematography is truly stunning! I loved all the little details of food, flora and fauna, adorable dogs are especially a highlight, and so much more that set the scene in such an immersive way. This film really gives you a sense of daily life in the 1790s. Daisy Edgar Jones captures Elinor Dashwood perfectly. What Didn’t Work- Significant deviations, splicing, and dicing of the plot abound. The dancing is jarringly modern and took me out of the period and setting entirely. Mr. Palmer is played by a woman which makes him look like a prepubescent boy rather than an adult man. Marianne’s hair at times is such a strange mess that it’s rather distracting. Overall, I enjoyed the film, but the Andrew Davies 2008 BBC adaptation still reigns supreme in my book. ❓Have you seen this new adaptation or do you plan to see it soon? by @bookishbethc
