This desert is such a vibe 🏜️

📍Wadi Rum, Jordan 🇯🇴

We traded beaches for endless red sand, sandstone rocks, desert sunsets, and some of the clearest night skies I’ve ever seen.

Known as the “Valley of the Moon,” Wadi Rum is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with evidence of human occupation dating back around 12,000 years 🤯

Spend a night in the desert, explore by 4x4, watch the sunset, and stay up for the stars. Trust me, you won’t miss the beach because you’ll feel like you’re on another planet 👩🏽‍🚀🪐

The Dolomites in fall 🍂

Golden larches, fewer crowds, beautiful hiking, and some of the most incredible scenery in the Italian Alps.

Just remember: fall is shoulder season, so expect some closures and unpredictable mountain weather. Plan accordingly!

If you’re looking for a quieter side of Thailand, start here 🏝️

📍Koh Yao Yai, Thailand 🇹🇭

If you haven’t heard of Koh Yao Yai, you’re not alone. This laid back island sits between Phuket and Krabi in Phang Nga Bay, but feels worlds away from the crowds.

With long beaches, quiet roads, local villages, and a much slower pace, it’s the kind of place where having no plans is exactly the point.

If you’re planning a few days here, don’t miss:

🏝️ Laem Haad Beach — beautiful sandbar at low tide
🌴 Loh Pared Beach — great for a beach day and sunset
🏖️ Lo Chak Beach — a quieter spot to explore
🏍️ Explore the island by motorbike
🥭 And, of course, leave room for mango shakes and 7-Eleven runs

If your ideal itinerary is beach hopping, exploring by motorbike, and doing a whole lot of nothing, Koh Yao Yai is for you.

💙 Lake O’Hara
🩵 Moraine Lake

Thousands of years later, and I’m still wondering: how did they build this? 🤯

📍Petra, Jordan 🇯🇴

More than 2,000 years ago, the Nabataeans carved Petra into the colorful sandstone cliffs, creating a thriving city and major center of trade.

What amazes me most is that so much of this ancient city has survived for centuries, with its monumental structures and intricate details still visible today.

If you love ancient civilizations, Petra deserves a spot on your bucket list 🏛️

This is one of those places that lives up to the hype✨

📍Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia 🇰🇭

It’s not just a temple. It’s a nearly 1,000-year-old masterpiece and the largest religious monument in the world, surrounded by an entire ancient temple complex 🤯

If you’re planning a visit:
🗓️ Give yourself at least 2–3 days to explore

🎟️ An Angkor Pass is required to visit the temples (1, 3, and 7 day options)

🛺 Hire a tuk-tuk or driver to get between the temples (the complex is huge)

🌅 Sunrise is iconic, but Ta Prohm and Bayon are equally impressive
