Dear Mama,
I’m sorry it took me so long to express this heartache I feel in my heart since your passing on September 12,2024. It’s been 8month and I am still at loss for words. People say time heals the pain but time for me is actually doing the opposite. Time reminds me of the last time I talked to you, had a good laugh together, we dance together and so many more last times that will never happens again. This feels all so sudden. Within 10months of your diagnoses, you were gone. I wished I had more memories with you, but I am grateful for the moments we shared however few they may seem now. Each memory is a treasure I hold close to my heart—the sound of your laughter, your warm hugs, and the wisdom you imparted in our quiet conversations. Those memories help me feel connected to you, even in your absence.

Every day since you’ve been gone feels like a struggle. I often find myself reaching for my phone to call you, only to realize once again that you’re no longer here. It’s as if a piece of my heart is missing. I long to share my experiences with you, to seek your advice, and simply to feel your presence beside me.

As I navigate this journey of grief, I’m learning to cherish the love you gave me and the lessons you taught. Though I may never understand why you had to leave so soon, I find comfort in knowing that your spirit lives on in the love I carry with me. I promise to honor your memory by living fully, just as you would have wanted me to.

I miss you deeply, and I will carry this love and heartache with me always. Thank you for being the incredible mother that you were.
