Dry land, dry lips but warm heart full of love & gratitude in the Land of the Amazigh people, the Land of the Free Men 🤍

It's where there are no material things that you shine the most, no mirror needed because you know you look just fine as your joy to be PRESENT with the energy of such BEAUTIFUL people in such a MAGNIFICENT place reflect on the outside! ✨

Let the adventurer within you thrive & contact me through @mana_tribe page or website to plan a trip to this MAGNIFICENT place in my homeland Algeria!

I picked 'Trigue Lycee' song because it's an Algerian song and because of the nostalgia of listening to it with my dad 🙏🏼🥰

📸 Gorgeous shots that make me look great even with the driest lips 👌🏼👏🏼by the great explorer & talented photographer @mariorigby Tanamert 🙏🏼

With all the earthday posts I see, I wanted to make one dedicated to all the indigenious tribes of the world that are the real ones preserving the planet and its ecosystem by leading sustainable lives like the Datooga and Hadzabe tribes I've been blessed to stay with in the gorgeous lands of Northern Tanzania.

Did you know that the Hadzabe tribe are orginally from Northern Tanzania and have been living there with limited resources for over 40 000 years! They've been the guardians of their beautiful forests all this time ! Protecting them from deforestation and participating in maintaining the world's balance.

🙌🏼🙏🏼 MASSIVE RESPECT to them and to all the tribes of the world! They deserve a Big THANK YOU! 🧡

So much needed time out of the city...
Not easy to go through this unexpected summer but thankfully Canadian summers are unique with warm fires, night sky full of stars, forest & lakes...and I am so grateful to be able to enjoy & learn from this beautiful, powerful, resourceful indigenous land!

Enjoy the last bit of summer we have left!

Always walk with Love & forgive
Vulnerability is power and is a trust we should never use against anyone
It also means that even if it hurts sometimes, don't go where you're not invited, and don't stay where you're not valued to protect & respect yourself
Maintain that balance of loving without losing yourself by @bosony

This past month in images.

This past month was just 1 month time but it was enough to make me experience everything that happens in life, the inevitable aspect of life. That everything is finite.
It's a thing to be aware of it but it's another thing to experience it. When all of a sudden, the comfort and safety you've always been privileged to have is taken away from you. Indeed, you can enjoy the preciousness of a moment with your parents, your sister and get an injury few hours later. You can also get diagnosed with a disease or even die from a heart attack or an accident and you can be a mother, a husband, a son, a sister, a cousin, a friend...
When your reality shifts so suddenly, your brain and body are shocked and still you're living and you have to deal with it and then grieve, heal...I know it is the reality all of us have to face at some point in our lives.
Like we say in the muslim community "Al hamdulilah" as you accept God's decree and that it is a reminder that we're all going to die, that one day this earthly reality will stop and that day can be today, tomorrow, in 10 months or 20 years...
I don't want to sound dark or sad with this post but just real! To reflect on this finite aspect of life because I thought I was reflecting enough on this matter but when this matter touches you with the tip of the finger, it just hits differently.
AL HAMDULILAH ALWAYS! 🤲🏼
Don't waste time and energy with people who are draining you. Give thanks for whatever you have & cherish each moment my friends, each hug, each word, each attention, each person you're grateful for. by @bosony

EID MUBARAK to the whole planet!

The month of extra praying, fasting, giving is over. May the spirit of Ramadan always stick with us all year long.
May we always pray and give to our brothers & sisters in need that are close to us and far from us all over the globe.

Sharing some of my shots of Madinah from an unforgettable spiritual trip in family in Saudi Arabia back in 2023

And I picked this audio because the Qur'an recitations from Sudan are amongst my favorites. It enters my heart in a unique way every time! ...the precious spirit of the beautiful people of Sudan 🫶🏼 ...

Eid Mubarak once again! Much love & light all over the world! May Allah guide us all always so we can heal the world together! 🤲🏼

Last Algeria shots of me!

I had to post all the gorgeous shots by @mariorigby 🙏🏼

We were privileged to shoot the art show of these young Tuareg men reviving the spirit of their ancestors that used to be great warriors to celebrate peace 🕊️

Such an inspirational identity that we'll go deeper into in our documentary! Stay tuned !

The Red desert of Algeria is magnificent and poetic. Many people say it's like being on Mars because you're immediately arriving on another planet, unknown territory of an infinite red landscape that will blow your mind for ever!

It's often the favorite part of the desert for many people and we understand why!
This place is just one of God's treasures that leaves you speechless and where you feel so safe, humble yet infinite!

Another gorgeous series of photos by @mariorigby🙏🏼

Everything seems much more precious in this immense hostile but stunning space!
You're even starting to uncover a part of yourself you have minimized or ignored for so long...
That's the desert / great space beautiful blessing. It allows you to connect on a whole other level!

That's why I recommend making this trip with close people you'd like to preciously connect with like family members or friends you don't get to spend much time with. For example to take the time to reconnect with a parent you had a complicated relationship with ...

Share how we travel with @manatribe around you 🙏🏼

I will share the last photos on @manatribe page so make sure to follow & share!
Many thanks 🙏🏼🫶🏼

Many blessings to all! One Love!

In the next days, I'll post photos of me in the Algerian Sahara back in Sep 2024.

These were our first days in the desert. We arrived at this magnificent site and we lived there with a local family for a week. Exploring this site seemed endless so I cannot wait to go back!

I'll be sharing the photos by series. I don't like it when it's all about me but ALL the photos are absolutely stunning and I share them so you can imagine yourself in my position, in this gorgeous immensity and maybe book a trip to Algeria with me in May or later so you can experience true freedom & spiritually connect in God's irreplicable art!
