If you’ve ever wanted to go to a book festival in a great city, this is the first one to put on your list. #bostonbookfestival by @bostonbookfest
Happy Halloween, all! We had the best time at the BBF's first (annual?) Kids Costume Parade, which led up to the first Storytime featuring Eleanor Davis reading from her new book, A Very Good Parade. We also hosted these amazing authors and illustrators for Storytime at BBF: Edwidge Danticat, Watch Out for Falling Iguanas (also BBF's Fiction Keynote for her novel Dèy); Sibu T.P., The Ones Who Came Before; Gary R. Gray, Jr., Spendin' Time; Eleanor Davis, A Very Good Parade; Brian Lies, Diffy. We are grateful to the @bostonglobe and @globesanta for supporting BBF's Storytime. Photos: @mariamataphoto Help us continue to share the joys of reading and keep the BBF free and open to all. Donate at our link in bio. Let us know in the comments if we should make the Kids Costume Parade an annual tradition to kick-off the BBF... by @bostonbookfest
Does Boston have the most beautiful book festival in the world? It might! Fantastic to join @o.maz12, Jennifer Moore, and Timothy Ryback in a centuries-old church to discuss everything from authoritarianism to corruption to the lessons of history—in America and beyond. Go get UNITED STATES OF OLIGARCHY if you haven’t yet—and go get their books as well! #bookstagram #oligarchy #boston #bostonbookfestival #booyankees by @bostonbookfest
I will travel for books and if you are the same way, you have to add the next @bostonbookfest to your travel plans! I made it to the 18th Annual Boston Book Festival and the best time popping in to different author conversations and checking out a variety of publishers, organizations, businesses, and local bookstores. @meetbostonusa #meetbostonpartner #introtoeclecticism bookstagram book festival by @bostonbookfest
