What a privilege to be recognized by the people that you love for something that you have dedicated over a decade to. I’m absolutely blessed to call @detroitjiujitsuacademy my home. by @boyblue392

I didn’t choose the “easy” path. I chose the one that felt like mine. The one that led me to build myself into the person I aimed to be. You can keep wondering “what if”.. or you can decide to find out. The hardest part is making the choice that you’re going to go for it. Don’t let fear be the deciding factor- do it afraid, do it while your voice trembles and come through to the other side where your dreams become reality. At some point, dreaming isn’t enough. You don’t find your passion by standing still- you jump into the river, into the flow and do what makes you feel alive. I made the conscious decision to pursue what sets my soul on fire. I didn’t wait for the “right time”, I started to build the life I wanted. What if the thing you’re afraid of is exactly what you’re meant to pursue and everything you ever wanted lies on the other side of your fear? If you knew you couldn’t fail, what passion would you pursue? Imagine where you could be if you stopped doubting yourself and started getting after what you love.. #bjj #brazilianjiujitsu #detroitjiujitsu #followyourdreams #passionandpurpose by @boyblue392
