This 52-sec video did 12M views with a 12,000ร— Breakout Score. Here's why: 0:07โ€“0:11: Pattern interrupt ("Tori the zombie") 0:11โ€“0:13: Promise (camera ready) 0:15โ€“0:23: Product 0:23โ€“0:33: Demo (caffeine, niacinamide, cooling) 0:40โ€“0:47: Result (zombie is gone) 0:47โ€“0:52: CTA They don't open with the eye gel. They show the viewer why they need it. That's the difference. Want more formats like this? Search any brand on BrandBeacon โ†’ brandbeacon.io by @brandbeaconio

WHY I think this video is performing (6.5M views, 14,000ร— Breakout Score, from a 76K account): โ†’ the hook is just "I'm 50 years old. Yeah, you heard that right." no filter, no setup, instant pattern interrupt โ†’ zero makeup + shiny face while the treatment is still on, so the proof is happening live โ†’ product duo highlight (Medicube One Day Exosome Shot + Collagen Jelly) so viewers get a full routine, not a single SKU โ†’ calm acoustic music that matches the soothing skincare vibe โ†’ brand name in the first 3 seconds, then a short, punchy promise โ†’ soft CTA at the end with coupons and a TikTok Shop link, no hard sell They don't open with ingredients. They open with an age most brands are scared to say out loud. That's the difference. Want more formats like this? Search any brand on BrandBeacon โ†’ brandbeacon.io by @brandbeaconio
An account with 3.8K followers got 20 million views talking about rhode. That's more people than live in New York City. It wasn't a paid review. The creator dressed up for Halloween and pretended a rhode lip case had stabbed her. So I looked at every rhode video on TikTok to find more like it. I didn't sort by views, because big accounts always get big views. I sorted by surprise: how much better a video did than its creator usually does. We call that the Breakout Score. The top 10 all came from accounts with under 4K followers. Together they got about 56.7M views. And almost none of them were about the skincare: โ†’ 2 were about the phone case โ†’ 1 was just Hailey walking into a store in Sydney โ†’ 1 was a fan upset that rhode sold to e.l.f. People don't post about what a product does. They post about how it makes them feel. I put all 10 into a swipe file, with what each creator said and why it worked. rhode paid for the testing. You get the results. by @brandbeaconio
5 of the biggest Viral Breakouts we pulled on BrandBeacon recently came from accounts under 2K followers. 816 followers. 2.4M views on skincare. 952 followers. 3.5M views on clothes. 539 followers. 727K views on protein. 849 followers. 1.5M views on shoes. 579 followers. 5.8M views on neck cream. What I keep noticing is that TikTok pushes a video on how people ACTUALLY react to the format, no matter how small the account is. That's why we rank by Breakout Score, not raw views. Comment "BREAKOUT" to find the small-account breakouts in your niche โ†“ by @brandbeaconio
Can we normalize this? ๐Ÿ™ Before you film your next TikTok for a brand, look at what already worked. Not just the video with the most views, but the ones that beat the creator's own normal by the biggest gap. A creator with 739 followers got 10.4M views for Owala with a 15 second video in a Target aisle. That's the kind of video worth studying before you hit record. Search any brand and see its TikTok Viral Breakouts ranked by Breakout Score, plus why they worked and 3 hooks to steal. a CeraVe video just hit 1.2 million views, and CeraVe didn't even post it ๐Ÿ‘€ it came from an account with 750 followers. no big audience, no ad budget, just a format that worked. and BrandBeacon found 112 videos like this for CeraVe this week alone. if you're a brand, creator, or marketer, this is how you find what's already working on TikTok before you film. search any brand free on BrandBeacon, link in bio โ€ผ๏ธ #cerave #skincaretok #ugccreator #contentstrategy #socialmediamarketing #dtcbrands #contentideas #viralvideo #brandbeacon by @brandbeaconio
How I'd launch a brand on TikTok Shop if I had to start from 0: (It's how we scaled a beauty brand from $10K to $100K a month.) 1/ I'd search my competitors before filming anything. Not their brand account. The creator videos around their product. I'd skip the top-viewed list and pull the videos that outperformed that creator's usual posts. That's the format that actually sold. That's why we built BrandBeacon. You search any brand, yours or a competitor's, and see which videos beat that creator's usual posts. 2/ I'd get product to as many creators as I could. For that beauty brand, we contacted 100K+ creators. Most never answered. The ones who did changed everything. 3/ I'd brief creators on what already won. Not "make something fun." Instead: here's the hook, here's when the product shows up, here's how long it runs. Every brief comes from a video that outperformed in the step 1 search. 4/ I'd boost the winners with Spark Ads. Only the ones that already outperformed. Don't pay to promote a guess. 5/ I'd repeat steps 1 to 4 for 3 months before deciding it doesn't work. Most brands quit after a few weeks of posts that flop. The winners show up in the reps. P.S. If you run brand, growth, or Shop at a DTC brand, what's your step 1 right now? by @brandbeaconio
