POSTS STORIES REELS

You can run through Old Northeast a thousand times and still have no idea what happened on these streets.

We teamed up with @pinellasrunclub to uncover some of the neighborhood’s most fascinating history, and a few of these stories surprised even us.

Did you know?

• Old Northeast wasn’t originally called Old Northeast. Perry Snell’s first subdivision was named Bayshore around 1905.

• Babe Ruth once rented a home on 16th Avenue NE that sold earlier this year for $1.43 million.

• The Vinoy was built in just 10 months for $3.5 million, making it the largest construction project in Florida history when it opened in 1925.

• George Gandy, the man behind the original bridge connecting St. Pete and Tampa, actually lived right here on Beach Drive.

• Land that would become part of Old Northeast was once purchased for the equivalent of just 73 cents per standard residential lot.

And today? Old Northeast remains one of St. Petersburg’s most desirable neighborhoods.

2026 market snapshot:
79 homes sold year to date
$1.26M median sale price
$606 median price per square foot
33 median days on market
$7.9M highest sale

There’s a story behind nearly every brick street and historic home in this neighborhood. You just have to know where to look.

Comment HISTORY if you want to learn more about the history of your home or neighborhood.

A little sprinkle of this and a little sprinkle of that 💫

Lots of community, a little running, some training, a whole lot of healing, and a constant effort to make myself proud.

Building, learning, growing, and figuring it out along the way. None of it is for the weak, but all of it is worth it.

Cheers to the wins, the lessons, the growing pains, and everything in between.

Q4 is rockin’, and we’re just getting started! 🤙🏻 by @brandeekaye_

There’s something empowering about becoming a stronger woman.

Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Learning to take up space. To be patient with myself while continuing to grow. To give myself grace without lowering my standards.

Some days I feel strong. Other days I’m reminded just how much room I still have to grow. And I’m learning to embrace both.

Strong body. Strong mind. Still becoming.

Never Finished. 🫶🏻

Please forgive me… I don’t want this to come across as rude, but I genuinely don’t care what everyone else is doing.

“Brandee, did you see this?”
“Did you see they’re doing that?”
“They have this…”
“They’re doing that…”

And my answer is: that’s amazing for them. 👏🏻

We started @pinellasrunclub 3.5 years ago with one purpose: COMMUNITY.

And 250+ FREE events later, that’s still how we operate.

Would I love more sponsors and partners who believe in what we’re building? Absolutely. Time is valuable. Energy is valuable. And there are countless hours poured into making this community what it is.

But we’ve done it because we genuinely love this community and the people who continue to show up.

So we’ll keep building.
We’ll keep creating.
We’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep loving on OUR people.

There’s room for everyone to win. We’re just focused on what we came here to do.

Community first. Always. 👊🏻💫

A September to REMEMBER 🫶🏻

One year older. 30 days wiser.

Lessons learned, so many wins, and a few losses along the way.

New relationships formed and some relationships I had to let go.

Grateful for the ones in my corner who cheer so damn loud, believe in the vision, and keep showing up.

A lot changed in 30 days and somehow, it feels like we’re just getting started.

Let the build continue 🚀 by @brandeekaye_

This community started with a run.

But somewhere along the miles, it became so much more.

Today, we’re incredibly proud to introduce PRC BEACON!

PRC Beacon is the nonprofit arm of Pinellas Run Club, created to take everything we believe about movement, connection, and community, and make an even bigger impact.

Our mission is simple: remove barriers and create more opportunities for people to move, connect, and belong.

Through PRC Beacon, we’ll be able to expand free and low-cost community events, create accessible wellness opportunities, support local causes, and invest directly back into the people and community that have given PRC so much life.

Because PRC was never just about running.

It’s about the person who showed up alone and left with friends.

It’s about the person who never thought they were a “runner” until they found a space for their pace.

It’s about local businesses supporting local people.

It’s about showing up for each other, mile after mile.

A beacon is something that guides, connects, and gives people a place to look toward.

That’s exactly what we hope PRC Beacon becomes for this community.

More movement. More access. More connection. More impact.

This is only the beginning.

Welcome to PRC BEACON!!!

Built for the community. Powered by the community.
