Saw some people doing this, and also saw some new followers on my page, so here's ten facts about me to close out the week. Might do more with this in the future if there's interest. Be warned that fact 8 is a little heavy so tread lightly.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask

This one was probably obvious by the fact that I can't do portraits, anatomy, or anything technical. It's not that I have no regard for any of that, it's that my brain just cannot compute any of it. My eyes see what is supposed to be done but that does not translate to my hands. Not even taking art in Highschool helped.

If you're frustrated with how poorly I manage to do things, imagine how I feel 🙄.

I was told that using a reference was both a crutch that would hold you back or it was just outright cheating. This is a bullshit mentality that I shake as often as I can if I need the help.

Otherwise, I just go off the top of the dome, which works best with neo tribal/ neo Polynesian and not much else.

Olde English/Gothic Lettering was my favorite to do in highschool. Which is funny because my handwriting is so goddamn poor that it's a wonder that I can read it.

I do hope to get back into it at some point.

Shout out to @dennismataafa for doing the eight islands on my back. And of course, shout out to @petite.mortt for my Geisha girl. (Hopefully I get to see you this year 😊)

Outside of them, everything on my right arm was designed by me. I have plans to rework and continue on that arm. Fingers crossed I can start this year with @crooks.tattoo

Shocker I know since I mostly do tribal/Polynesian (and even in that I'm only so good/so far advanced since I was never taught where and what needs to be placed in the proper spot)

But I grew up with East Asian material all around me on Oahu, especially Japanese material. Sht, I was semi fluent in Japanese as a teenager (unfortunately, all I can manage now is asking where someone is from and if they speak English)

With Biomechanical, obviously I grew up watching HR Gieger's design in film, and saw Aaron Cain and Guy Aitchison on tv doing what they do best and was inspired by by @brandon.sylva

My first tattoo in a long time, more pictures to come as I heal. #geishatattoo thank you to @petite.mortt for this dopeness and for being awesome by @brandon.sylva

A horse pommel dagger for today. Based on a knight chess piece, which might be my favorite piece now that I think about it. Slide 2 is where the idea originated.

A quick little #tattooconcept which is why it looks wonky in some parts. At least it's out of my head

A tribute to what has become one of my dearest friends, @riettelackey @watermelon.za starting with the final product, the in-between stage on slide 2 and the original inspiration on the last slide. It's part of a piece she posted back in March.

Hope you like it. Love you 😘
