11 epic days in Orlando challenge! (banner)

As if being in Orlando with the whole fam for the first time wasn’t enough… Sam and his parents had to fly in and surprise my parents 😭 We got to spend 11 days celebrating 4 birthdays, Father’s Day, and this beautiful life we’ve all created together. It’s crazy to think that all of these people we met in the last 4 years at different music festivals and now here we are flying across the country for each other and merging our families. Hi! We’re the Kitts 💌

Best friends for over 18 years. Kinda been building a crazy life together and got married along the way.

Figured it’s time we share our story…

Brandon. 33 years old. The builder. Gets us there. Can fix anything, chooses his words wisely (but will hit you with a one liner that’ll leave you gagged), and swears he’s more than a piece of meat…

Maddison. 31 years old. The dreamer. Says where we’re going. Never met a stranger, will happily turn a 20 minute Costco run into a 2-hour social event, and is clearly funnier than Brandon…

Been rocking it since 2007 (and we’re just getting started)

We learned at a young age that no matter where we went or what we did, it was always the people for us.

So there was this dog…

Went to touch grass after Bloom, be sad, and celebrate 🚲 day as a family of 4 - but the universe had other plans. Got our camp setup, woke up Sunday to go to town for groceries, and there he was on the side of the road. This dog that looked like Dewey and Gumdrop had a baby. But he had a friend with him (and ain’t nobody got time for that), so we decided they had each other and we’d carry on.

Hours went by and we went back to check on them. There he was all alone this time and still hadn’t moved an inch. We pulled over to search for his friend but he was nowhere to be found. Baby boy was in the middle of nowhere, completely covered head to toe in scabs and bite marks, and at least 100 ticks.

Since it was Sunday, we took him to the local Tractor Supply for tick medicine and a bath. Where he laid on his back and let us rip ticks (and hair) off his body for over an hour. Decided we’d take him to the camp and Brandon would drive him back to Tulsa to see Doc the next morning.

After all the shots, medication, and tests, they came back to our campsite and we continued to camp (now the 5 of us) for 5 days. Not a single issue. A 1 year old stranger with his balls infiltrated our 18 foot RV and Rufus and Wilbur simply welcomed him with open arms.

He has passed every test with flying colors since we found each other. So naturally, he stayed (his balls didn’t tho). We brought him home, named him Bruce, and have loved him more with each passing day.

Not only does he look 50% Dewey and 50% Gumdrop, he somehow is made up of 100% their spirit and mannerisms. The smiles are nonstop for all of us these days. This lowrider really came along and healed the 4 of us in ways we didn’t know were possible.

So, this is happening!👀👀

The Haus of Kitt got a mobile stage and Im taking her on her maiden voyage to Tulsa Tough this Friday.

We’re gonna light this truck up with some serious sound and lights in the New Story parking lot right at turn 8 in the race!

I’ll be bringing my friend @djfeenixtulsa with me to hold down the party, so expect some energy and dancing to be going down!🎶🎧🎶🎧

3 minutes of Bloom 2026 💌

Our team has always been small but mighty – with most work being done by our family of 4. But when production time comes, our people show up and lock-in. Our performers, artists, volunteers, AV and media teams, sponsors, vendors, chosen family, and the attendees create magic out of ✨ thin air ✨ It takes an incredible team, an overwhelming amount of love, undeniable passion, and a moderate level of delusion.

To the universe: I see you. My mind is blown by the law of attraction at work. Anything I could ever want, you put into my hands all I have to do is show up and be present.
I’ve been a people pleaser all my life, and I've let that be taken advantage of in the past. When I’m down, I’ve looked at it as a weakness. But we are UP, baby! The people in my life who show up for me with unconditional love are the true representation of what I put out. I will never stop giving my all to those in my path.
To the phony ones: I see you, and I hope you find your authentic self one day instead of feeding off others.

Making all our dreams come true or whatever 🙄

We really did just produce our 5th festival in 2 years. Had all of our best friends shacked up in our house, endless 16+ hour days, blood, sweat, tears. IYKYK how much work and love and passion our entire family puts into @hausofkitt. Our baby boy is gone 🪽

It’s been 2 weeks since Dewey left us. 4:42am on February 15th in his favorite place - in bed cuddled between his mom and dad. His transition was quick and peaceful. Believe it or not, it just so happens that February 15th is National Gumdrop Day 😩 The only thing that has kept us moving forward these days is knowing Gumdrop must’ve gotten her wish.

There are a million things I want to say about our Dewey, but words have been hard lately.

Brandon’s dad found this little puppy on Craigslist for $20 after a renter moved out and left him behind. We asked if we could take him with us to school for a week and swore to bring him back... and we did, but just to visit. We named him Dewey and he never left our side again for 13 years. He was the first good decision Brandon and I ever made together if you ask our parents lol

Dewey was the most loyal and loving little asshole. He never met a lap he wouldn’t sit on. Always looking for the next person who’d pet him. He was the BEST cuddler. But always down to get hype and do some parkour zoomies. Always waiting for us with the biggest smile when we got home. He was our constant. Always there to match our energy with his unconditional love. Our perfect little guy and truly our best friend.

Our baby girl is gone 🪽

Finally found the courage to share this hurt with the world but holy shit has it been hard to come to terms with. We were supposed to come to Baja, get Dewey better and head home together as a family. But we lost Gumdrop.

It’s been 3 weeks. 3 weeks of us all feeling lost and confused. Watching the waves crash on the beach, wishing they were loud enough to drown out the silence of our life without her. Wishing we’d wake up and this was all a nightmare. Watching Dewey look for her. Seeing the sadness in all the boys faces. But somehow this is our reality and we’ve just slowly had to pick ourselves up and be strong for Dewey.

Gumdrop spent the first 2 years of her life in a hoarders house with 13 other dogs where the rescuers said they never saw the sun. Then spent 6 months in the shelter because no one wanted to adopt the deaf dog. Until 2014, when I happened to stumble across her on a Saturday in Petsmart. Staring up at me with those crazy blue eyes, smiling so big with a name card that said “Hi I’m Gumdrop, and I’m deaf.” I couldn’t believe my eyes 😂 and sent Brandon a picture immediately. It wasn’t until a month or so later when we took Dewey to get groomed and realized it was Saturday, so we walked to the back and there she was… our perfect little weirdo. When Brandon asked to get her out, I knew it was game over... Dewey was getting a sister.

She spent nearly 12 years with us. She was deaf, quickly went blind, and she didn’t give a single fuck. She was even paralyzed for a time and had to learn to walk again. If you knew Gummy, you know she never let it slow her down… and we wouldn’t dare stop her. She was the boss of our household. The most vocal and the most loving. She cracked our shit up every single day. Nothing else mattered to her as long as she was near us. As long as she had Dewey - her absolute best friend and seeing eye dog. And eventually, Rufus and Wilbur - her chew toys and sparring partners .

There are so many things we’ll miss about Gummy… and they become more apparent each passing day without her.
