“Source” Media: photograph on Moab silver metallic “Presence” Media: photograph on Moab silver metallic There is an extraordinary grace in the relationship between water and sand. Shaped by the powerful pull of king tides, the shoreline becomes a canvas of ever-changing patterns, where each wave leaves its mark before the next transforms it. A beautiful reminder that nothing remains still, and even the smallest changes can reveal something extraordinary. #SandStudy #FineArtPhotography #PatternsInNature #AbstractNaturePhotography EphemeralBeauty by @brandyjsebastian
Image 1 “Emergence” Archival Pigment Print on Moab Metallic Silver Image 2 “Continuum” Archival Pigment Print on Moab Metallic Silver I find myself drawn to the patterns that emerge in the ever-shifting sand and the marks created and erased by the continuous movement of water. With each surging wave, the surface changes in continuum. Lines gather, intersect, disappear, and begin again. In these images, I imagine patterns reminiscent of traditional Indigenous weaving and rugs, the rhythms and repetitions that seem to hold a language of their own. Perhaps they are short stories written by the waters beyond, carried to shore for only a moment before being rewritten again. #SandStudy #PatternsInNature #NatureAbstract #FineArtPhotography #VisualStorytelling by @brandyjsebastian
