“Integrity isn’t about who’s watching—it’s about who you are.”

Welcome to the third video in the Branson Public Schools Portrait of a Pirate series, highlighting our core district values. This episode explores Integrity—doing the right thing even when no one is watching, taking responsibility without being told, and choosing honesty over easy shortcuts.

When our students choose integrity, they help foster a school environment rooted in trust and mutual respect. by @bransonschools

Our Youth Cross Country Club had an incredible season! This year, a record-breaking 101 students from 2nd and 3rd grade at Buchanan Elementary and Cedar Ridge Elementary participated, practicing four days a week to build their endurance and achieve their goals.

A huge part of this program focuses on personal growth. During the first week of practice, each athlete completes a timed 1-mile run and sets a tangible goal for the end of the season. These personalized goals are proudly displayed in the school hallways as a daily reminder of their hard work!

We were also thrilled to invite Kirbyville's 2nd and 3rd grade cross country club to compete with us this season. The teams raced three times to win the "traveling trophy," finishing the final meet by celebrating our top ten medalists and awarding ribbons to every single participant. We love seeing healthy competition push all our students to do their best! 🏅✨

Today was a special day at BHS as we celebrated our Seniors!
Our seniors kicked off the morning watching the sunrise with doughnuts, and hot chocolate before heading inside to paint their custom ceiling tiles that will line our hallways all year long.

Our hallways are about to look incredible with this year's masterpieces!

📸 Seniors & Parents: We want to see your artwork! Drop a picture of your finished tile in the comments, or comment with your favorite memory from today! 👇👇 by @bransonschools
