Galatians 2:20 DREAM BIG WORK HARD @quimby_contracting
POSTS STORIES REELS
You’re not calm. You’re just quiet. Most men don’t have an anger problem. We have a storage problem. We hold it in. The stress at work. The bills. The disrespect. The stuff at home we never talk about. We stuff it down and call it “strength.” Then one bad day, one wrong comment, and it all comes out. At our wife. At our kids. At the people we’d die for. And the words we say can’t be taken back. James 3 says it plainly: “A tiny spark can set a great forest on fire.” Your tongue is that spark. And the fire it starts can burn through years of trust in about 10 seconds. But here’s what we talked about Tuesday night: You don’t have to be chained to your temper. Galatians 5 gives us the playbook. The Holy Spirit produces: Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control. You won’t white-knuckle your way into self-control. It’s fruit. It grows when you stay connected to Jesus. So the next time pressure builds: → Pause before you speak → Pray before you react → Ask: “Is this my flesh or His Spirit?” A man who controls his tongue protects his home. That’s not weakness. That’s being BUILT. Send this to a man who’s been holding it all in. Comment BUILT if you’re done letting anger have the last word. #builtmen #mensministry #christianmen #brotherhood #manofgod by @braylon_quimby
