Welcome to my page!

My name is Bree and this page is a place full of books and all my thoughts. The most important thing about me is my faith in Jesus Christ. For reading, I am a lover of all things fantasy and romance, but will sometimes throw in a dash of other genres!

I host @chapterchatspod with my best friend! Each week we drop a new episode talking all things books📖 by @brazenandbookish

How I Rate Books:

Star Ratings:
5⭐️ = A masterpiece. One of the best books I’ve ever read. I will reread this again and again.

4⭐️ = A really, really good book. Loved it, just missing that five star magic.

3⭐️ = A solid book. I liked it, didn’t love it.

2⭐️ = I did not like this book at all.

1⭐️ = I hated this book with every fiber of my being.

Spice Ratings:
I personally skip over spice if it is in books, but I usually count scenes so that I can give it an appropriate rating for others!

5🌶️ = Literally no plot and only spice.

4🌶️ = Six plus open door spice scenes or intense themes.

3🌶️ = Four to five open door spice scenes

2🌶️ = Two to three open door spice scenes

1🌶️ = One open door spice scene by @brazenandbookish

October Reading Wrap-Up📖

ALSO, @bookshelvish caught my mistake of putting The Sowing season twice (whoops)😂 But I am too lazy to edit it, so I’m just going to tell you guys that my other 3.5 read was The Dagger and The Flame!😂

Books that I think are COMPLETELY underrated📖

I’ve been making my way through the book of Romans and @thedailygraceco Co Romans Bible study. It has been SO GOOD for my soul. Romans is packed up of fantastic theology and is such a great place to start if you are new to studying the Bible (and honestly for the old salty veterans out there too).

The Questions Handbook is the newest resource from @thedailygraceco and I think every Christian should grab one!

This book helps every believer to be equipped with clear, biblically supported truth for difficult questions about faith, culture, and the Bible. It doesn’t shy away from the difficult questions and provides clear, scriptural answers!
