Have you ever walked into a store and seen what looked liked giant post-it notes everywhere? Chances are they were getting ready to take inventory. They will add up every item and cross check the results against what should be in their inventory.

Just like our favorite stores, we too, need to take inventory every once in a while. We need to check in on ourselves and determine what’s “on the sales floor, what’s in the warehouse,” what’s really going on in our lives. We need to add up what we are doing, where are we going, what are we obsessing about, dwelling on and harping over, who we are spending time with, how much, and why?

Then we we need to “crunch the numbers” and see what’s there. Because just like retailers who take inventory to figure out what’s “left the store with out being paid for,” we too, have had our missions, our goals, our time, our energy, our health, our peace and happiness and our joy stolen by and from us by things (and people) that don’t serve our highest, greatest good.

I bet if you take inventory, you might find that there’s whole lot of optional (those totally unnecessary things) going on and not enough vital (those positive life sustaining things) happening.

The heists are for real. What’s also real is that you are the “head of security” and you have the power to enact a solid inventory control system. When you add it all up, what’s “left your inventory without being paid for?” It might be time for you to TAKE INVENTORY. Drop a line in the comments if you’d like to share.

No matter where our journey leads, through valleys of challenge or mountaintops of triumph, God walks beside us every step of the way. In moments of uncertainty, He is our strength, and in seasons of joy, He is the source of our gratitude. Whatever we face, we are never alone, for His presence surrounds us with guidance, comfort, and unwavering love. #GodsGotYou#EnjoytheJourney

Whatever comes your way, whatever happens, whatever you are going through you CAN still choose how you want to be. And, you can come out better on the other side. #bebetternomatterwhat #youhaveachoice #toughtimescanmakeyoubetter by @braziltandc

Sometimes we miss important messages because we are looking for some spectacular messenger to show up and deliver the message. BUT, God speaks to us in often very subtle ways. It can be through a song, a road sign, a bumper sticker or an over heard conversation while sitting on the bus. We know it is message from God when it resonates with us. It will feel like an answered question or the solution to a problem. It won’t mean anything to other people. BUT, to YOU it is a message from above. And YOU know it when you hear it. Are you listening?!? #Godistalkingtoyou #messagefromabove #areyoulistening #payattention #yourmessageisyourmessage #youwillknowitwhenyouhearit by @braziltandc

On this day of love, let us not forget that true love starts within ourselves. Don’t look to others to give to you what you don’t first give to yourself.

For some people an enormous amount of energy is expended on what qualities an “ideal mate” should have. The same (or more) energy must be put on becoming or being our “ideal self.” *
*
Loving ones self isn’t about being conceited or narcissistic. It’s about feeling good about who God made you. *
*
Good old fashioned healthy self-esteem. Knowing who you are and what makes you special. And WE ARE ALL SPECIAL in our own unique way.
*
*
I challenge you to make your list of:
“100 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT ME.” *
*
That might sound like a daunting task but once you get into it will be fun! You don’t have to complete it in one sitting. Add to it at your leisure. Eventually, you will go past 100 things. You can include anything you want. It’s YOUR list about YOU. No one has to see it. It will be your personal reminder of what’s wonderful and lovable about you. *
*
Love yourself first. Because YOU are who YOU are with 24/7/365.❤️❤️

We can know the WHO.
We can know the WHEN.
We can know the HOW.
We may never know the WHY.
But WHAT we do know is to keeping going. We stop. We catch our breath. We remember and we reminisce. Then we begin again more consciously, knowing it’s our responsibility to KEEP GOING. by @braziltandc

Never forget that sometimes we don’t get that second chance to go back and apologize, to do better than we did the last time (when we already knew better), to be kind, to be polite, to be nice, to be thoughtful or to just be decent.
I bless the life of Kobe Bryant. I thank God for allowing me to bear witness to the phenomenal human being he was while on Earth. One who used all of his God-given, gifts and talents to the thrill and enjoyment of so very many others, in service to his fellow man and in love and devotion to his family.
I honor the humility and *divinity Kobe showed in praising our other phenom LeBron James for surpassing his record. His LAST POST.
There is room and opportunity for much greatness. And it is sorely needed.
Greatness + Service + Humility = A Life Well Lived and Worthy to be Praised. Kobe Bryant, Never to be Forgotten.
Blessings for lives of Gianna Bryant, Sarah and Payton Chester, Christina Mauser, John, Keri and Alyssa Altobelli and Ara Zobayan the dedicated and loving parents, athletes and pilot who left this Earth with Kobe. I ask God to comfort the Bryant family and all of the families (across the globe) who now mourn. May God keep them in His care. *I had meant to write dignity but spell check corrected it to divinity. Even Siri knows about Kobe.... #KobeBryant #8 #24 #theLessonofKobesLife #RIPKobe #NevertobeForgotten #wecanalldobetter by @braziltandc

Quick fixes are sometimes necessary in the moment but long term solutions allow you to move on to the next thing. They help you to get off the carousel of having to deal with the same ole problems over and over an over again. by @braziltandc
