Finished decorating the hobbit bookshelf my husband built me for my birthday! One thing led to another, and now our living room has a green accent wall - and I love it!!! It feels so cozy and Shire-like! I chose to display my favorite LOTR books and collectibles, and leave my other bookshelf as the home to my other rare/special edition/sprayed edge books. What do you think?! #lotr #shire #hobbit #books by @breesteffenstories

Saw the War of the Rohirrim and absolutely loved it! I’m not that big into anime, but it definitely transported me back to Middle-earth in a way that I haven’t felt in a long time! And you know I had to get the ridiculous popcorn bucket 🤣

Perfect day to remember running around like Halflings at Hobbiton! This was the trip of a lifetime and I can’t wait to go back. by @breesteffenstories

Even anxious pups need the moon 🌖 One of my favorite songs from The Great Divide Tour. The sets accompany the music and songs were INCREDIBLE and made everything so much more poignant! by @breesteffenstories

Looking for desert tortoises! I’m happy to be working alongside Sean again! by @breesteffenstories

Once again, my husband outdid himself for my birthday, making me a Hobbit door bookshelf to go around our front door! He designed it himself, then made everything by hand out of wood! I cried when I saw it for the first time 🥹 He’s an incredible craftsman and I’m lucky he embraces my nerd obsessions and brings them to life! I can’t wait to arrange my favorite and most beautiful books! #hobbit #lotr #bagend #books #bookshelf by @breesteffenstories

For my birthday this year, Sean built me a hobbit door bookshelf to go around the front door of our house! He also painted me a Balrog/Gandalf canvas and made me a birthday card watercolor Gollum! Once again, he has absolutely blown me away by his creativity, and support of my nerd obsession 🤣 I can’t wait to fill our hobbit hole with more books!!! by @breesteffenstories

Final roundup of moments from San Diego Comic-Con! Definitely centered around my favorite fandom, some amazing stuff from the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and Rings of Power! Loved kissing Sean with my Durin dwarf beard 😂 by @breesteffenstories

For any fantasy nerd, Weta Workshop is our Mecca! It was incredible to get a chance to chat with Sir Richard Taylor (he loved my hand-decorated hat and took a pic to send to his wife!!!!!!), and the amazing Flo Foxworthy. Both of them were kind enough to sign my Hobbit movie book, because in this household, we LOVE the Hobbit trilogy!!! It was a treat to get more small glimpses into what goes into making their powerhouse props, costumes and special effects. Definitely another big highlight from San Diego Comic-Con!!! Thank you Weta crew for always being so kind. by @breesteffenstories

The biggest highlight of San Diego Comic-Con this year was meeting John Rhys Davies - not once, but thrice!!!!! He was amazed my beard was actually my own long hair, and said “you know, someone would pay a lot of money for that.” And I asked him “would you” 😂 and that made him laugh! Getting to meet him with @chuffed.crow.creations was extra special because we have literally talked about how much we want to meet him from the first day that we met!!!! He was just as magical and kind as everyone says he is. What an icon. by @breesteffenstories
