#asia #africa #missões by @brenda_ju
Aqui vai um pouquinho da minha história ✌🏼 - Brenda Xisto by @brenda_ju
Grace and peace, my name is Lucas and I’m going to share a little of my story with you. I had the privilege of being born into a Christian home, with pastor parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. After years of service in our local churches in São Paulo, and in response to a call from God, when I was 16, my family and I were sent as missionaries to Mozambique, in Southern Africa, a country where I have had the opportunity to serve, love and live for the last 12 years. Here, I finished my studies and was able to serve in several churches, hospitals, schools, prisons, associations, scholarship programs and much more, always working in partnership and unity with many missionary friends. In addition to the volunteering carried out over these years, in 2019 the Lord led me to work in a Mozambican company, where I have sought to be salt and light by sharing Christ in words and actions. During this time I also had the opportunity to visit other countries and see a little of what God is doing throughout the nations. God has been showing me up close that His plans, for His Kingdom, are greater and higher than ours, but at the same time, if we obey and place ourselves at His disposal, He will use us for His glory, regardless of our failures and limitations. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.” by @brenda_ju
