Sorry made these graphics real quick 😅😭😅 but you get it. I have two fits—one cropped and one regular. Both off white!

Thank you to @chinatownqueen and Troy for being my models—it’s so hard to find time to get product pics and models and listing it and postin and all the other things. I’m doing what I can as a one woman show. 🫨 hoping to grow my shop so I can be my own artist again… by @brendachiart

WE DID IT @comicconla
I SAW NIC CAGE AND LOOKED INTO HIS EYES THRU HIS SUNGLASSES AND I CANT SAY I GOT MUCH BACK 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway if anyone can connect me with him so I can give him my postcard, pls lmk. I tried gifting him one but the staff said NO GIFTS. :( 🙅‍♂️

THANK YOU to the people who came to my booth and bought something! I feel more grounded, with a mix of imposter syndrome and affirmation at these events. Having nice people compliment the art AND buy something is really nice. Community is the way.

Thank you to @georginaedwardss for being a booth buddy, great seeing some friends @nguyeningit and @eyedraugh and anyone I forgot, I thank you toooo. 😩😭

I did a TURTLES COVER!! *saturday morning adventures* @idwpublishing
🐢 AVAIL JAN 11th 2023!
Huge thank you to Jaz Joyner as always for the rec. 🥹🥹 and Nick Nino for having me!

And my cover peers are such huge name artists, wow I am honored to share this issue (4) with em. @teamlattie @seangallowayart

It’s surreal that I got to do turtles because I grew up on these bad boys and playing with my older bros’ turtle figurines. We were poor so I got the 80s action and wrestling figures 😅

Swipe for process and hope I get to do another cover soon.🥰 by @brendachiart

My second RISO!!! Seeing my painting turn into a riso was such a treat!! I hope I can make more of these beauties. Dm if you wanna buy, I have a limited batch. 💖💖💖 by @brendachiart

ITS ABOUT MY HOME —the 626! And to represent the wonderful blend of Chinese and Mexican culture that I grew up on—I drew tons of foods I grew up eating.

My first ever washi tape now at my shop 🔗 in bio/ Brendachiart.Etsy.com 🥟🌮

because for the love of god, if you take OUR PEOPLE, you take the food away too. We must stand proud!! After Latines, Asians are the next ones abducted and imprisoned by 🧊. We need to work together like a huge gundam and melt emmmm 💥

Join my NEWSLETTER for whenever I’m gonna vend /sell in person & for any future drops on my Etsy! Link in bio 💕 I’m hoping I can get back to speed cuz working full time sucks the life out of me but you guys give me life again. Just takes work tho 😮‍💨 by @brendachiart

Some drawings from the TEEN NIGHT @thedrawingclub_la with @seabas2099 as spider-man!

Used a calligraphy pen for the first time and had a lot do good times carving into the drawing. Felt like I could push style more. Indie comic vibes! by @brendachiart

I went outside and sun baked (with sunscreen). Feeling nervous to draw what I saw, which was a lot of great ppl posing and sun baking and napping, but my introvert self went to my sketchbook with drawings not done.

I’m pretty happy with how this turned out! The acrylic markers are helping me throw out the “vision” quicker and lets me layer as I figure out what I want this to “look like”. I should try more.

@earthylien as Princess bubblegum from @thedrawingclub_la workshop earlier this year! And a lil bit of @edensgardenva behind, helping frame the piece.

It’s weird, I needed a few weeks to rest from my injury and now I see rest and art-making a little differently. Not sure how I’m gonna be able to keep this rest when I return to work tho. Feels fleeting.

Just need time for the next step. by @brendachiart

they’re finally here. Brendachiart.etsy.com And I’ll be tabling this Sunday @poshcommunitymarket in montebellooooo, so you can get him in person too. ✨✨✨

🖤 I HAVE BEEN WATCHING SPIDER NOIR AND LOVING IT. So many NIC CAGEismssss in his performance. It’s exactly what I want when I am watching his performance.

And the big spider reveal? Not a spoiler btw! You’ll know it when you see it—it’s bad 80s horror cult film vibes which I love

The other pt that’s weird and not great is that he’s really old and talking to a lot of very young ppl and his young love interest and when there’s close up shots of his hand and cat’s —and just closeups of him, let’s just say it’s good that he’s in B/W. The color is gorgeous for costume and set decor but I really enjoy how B/W covers up the cg and his age. I wanna BELIEVE.

And if you go to my 🔗 in bio, I’m building up my newsletter so you know the newest merch and when I’ll be tabling! I won’t email that often, perhaps quarterly at most 🤣 I get too many emails too. by @brendachiart
