Spring/Summer plans: cancelled. I said yes to all of this. See you in August. by @brendanvincent

THIS BAND! Think Sahara, Tuaregs playing blues. Plenty of subtle rhythm fluctuations that you can feel in your core. Listen to this album! Or any. They have plenty. @tinariwen by @brendanvincent

#conductor #pov of a solid orchestra accompanying a high-energy cast of #newsies. Since we are backstage and playing Live there’s no need for concert black.

Quartet for the End of Time, written in a German concentration camp in the 1940s. Check it out. It’s a privilege to play with fine musicians of Grand Rapids #kushchords #messiaen #openstudio by @brendanvincent

Trivia revealed! While I got a lot of people saying STOMP, I’ve never done that show so you’re probably right. But here are the two I was thinking of. #rentthemusical #sweeneytodd #percussion #musicaltheater by @brendanvincent

TRIVIA CLUE: Both shows have a lot of death/dying… and they’re set about 100 years apart. #percussion #musicaltheater #frozenthemusical by @brendanvincent

Happy Thanksgiving, you lot. I see you checking Insta on the sly.
Got to say, the Frozen score is a masterclass in orchestration. Seriously beautiful work.

Three scores. Three months. Two brain cells. Send help. by @brendanvincent

Come From Away is up. Cast, and crew killed it. I’d say come and see it, but all five weeks are sold out. Special thanks to the band: @cameronxtaylor @monjoody @dvhdrums @brandon.pacheco.39 @rhiannonpitcock @classical_cara @gothicoboist #comefromaway #farmersalleytheatre by @brendanvincent

It’s #techday for #comefromaway at #farmersalleytheatre so that means just days till opening. The original run has been SOLD OUT but it’s been extended to 5 weeks till Oct 25. by @brendanvincent

Pianist in your pocket! I get a lot of requests for plunk tracks from clients and theaters - people love them because they can learn anytime and anywhere. #plunktracks #musicdirector #musicaltheater #novationlaunchkey #launchkontrol by @brendanvincent

It was a true privilege to music direct this stunning production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Huge gratitude to the entire company for their tireless work. A special nod to the phenomenal creative team for that brilliant set—walking into the theater felt like stepping right into 1960s New York.

And to our incredible orchestra: your talent and professionalism in the pit were the heartbeat of this show. Making music with such a gifted band is a highlight of any music director’s job.

Closing night vibes are bittersweet. So proud of this cast, this crew, and this beautiful show. 👏 #beautifulthemusical #musicdirector #theatrelife #closingnight #carolekingmusical #musicaltheatre #orchestrapit by @brendanvincent
