Happy 20th Birthday, Tanner! 🖤 20 years ago, we spent Halloween in the hospital watching zombie movies, waiting for you to arrive. Two days later, you finally made your appearance! It’s been so rad watching you grow up. Dad and I are so proud of you! Love you, buddy! @tanner.vann13 🧟‍♂️🖤🖤💕 by @brentvann

I’m alive, I’m on the road, and I’ll be out here until November.

I don’t post as much anymore because I’m trying my best to live in the moment a little more—to actually take in all the things we’re usually too busy to enjoy.

I wish we had more hours in the day to handle our shit, enjoy the little things, do rad tattoos, tell my friends and family I love them, and, more importantly, tell the people and things I don’t like to eat a dick.

Life gets shorter by the day. Memories get a little more distant, and I’m realizing that maybe the meaning of life isn’t spending every spare minute sitting on the shitter scrolling through pointless reels and posting pictures of it.

So I guess the point of this rant is this:

I want to live my life like it’s the first day of summer and the last day of school.

No waiting around. No saving shit for later. Just get out there, make some memories, do some dumb shit, love the people you love, and enjoy the hell out of the time we get.

Hope your summer has been fucking great. Hope you’re all happy, healthy, and finding some good shit to smile about.

Hope to see you all soon. #FUCKYEAH by @brentvann
