Vertical Plus joined @bretonair on a geophysical survey mission with New Resolution Geophysics’ Xcite system, which maps geology hundreds of metres below the surface. Flying it means holding steady speed and height over mountains, wind and weather that won’t sit still.

We also ride along on drill moves as Breton Air backs the mineral exploration boom across eastern Canada.

Welcoming the first CC-295 Kingfisher flight into Sydney, NS today!

“The CC-295 Kingfisher is Canada’s newest fixed-wing search and rescue aircraft.

The Kingfisher is specifically designed to perform search and rescue missions across Canada. The aircraft is equipped with integrated sensors that allow crews to locate persons or objects from more than 40 kilometres away, even in low-light conditions.“ - Royal Canadian Air Force by @bretonair

Our team was on the move this weekend, transporting the XCite TDEM system to the Northern Peninsula from our base in Western Newfoundland. The calm before the storm on Sunday allowed for a seamless transit, and we were treated to some great photos along the way.
