Another great review for Bad Dad.🥒Joey Moser of The Contending calls the film “cunningly original” and writes: “What sets Bad Dad apart from a standard thriller is how it effectively turns the tables on its characters.” Read the full review. Still thinking about this night! Last month we held a special screening of BAD DAD at New York City Center. Thank you to everyone who showed up for us. And a huge thank you to our EP @luisafig for organizing the screening, @shaleahadkisson for facilitating, and to 2026 Peabody Award–winner @brendanpatrickhughes Brendan Hughes for moderating an exciting conversation with our writer/director/producer, @chisabh and producer/actor, @brianjmcmanamon. It was really wonderful to have a chance talk not just about how we made the film, but why we made it, what we hope it says about LGBTQ+ representation, parenthood, and what we hope audiences take away from it. Fellow producer and our incredible DP, @darrenjoe and other members of the crew came out, along with so many friends and supporters. It was a really meaningful night and we’re hoping it’s the first of many chances to have conversations like these as BAD DAD continues its journey. Keep an eye on out at @BadDadFilm for upcoming screenings and news. 📸 Thank you to @throughmylens23_ who captured these moments. BAD DAD Writer/director:
