First-gen Portuguese-American millennial. 🇵🇹🇺🇸

Portuguese was my first language. I was translating for my grandparents by 6 years old and eventually became the first person in my family to graduate college.

We grew up watching our parents and grandparents work hard, learned early that nothing was just going to be handed to us, and somehow became the generation that had to explain every new piece of technology to the same people we once translated for. 😂

We remember dial-up internet, MapQuest directions, brick cell phones, and having to actually call someone’s house and hope their parents didn’t answer.

And if your parents said “we need to talk”… you immediately started replaying everything you had done for the last 30 days. 😂

Different childhood. Wouldn’t change it.

First-gen millennials… what did I miss?

Who will you be 3 years from now?

A lot can happen in 3 years.

Your entire life can change forever.

This weekend we had a life changing event at our company convention.

We are grateful for the awards we received because of our amazing team. We couldn’t have done it without them.

You can go fast by yourself, but with a team you can go far.

Grateful to the mentors who’ve turned into friends that not only poured so much belief into us but also into our team.

So many teammates were inspired, motivated & had their visions stretched of what is possible if you set big goals, create a plan to execute those goals, give yourself a deadline but most importantly….work your a** off.

Can’t wait to see them achieve greatness.

Looking forward to going back not only as a better leader but with many more teammates.

Looking forward to going back with more six figure income earner teammates.

Looking forward to help more teammates achieve their goals & helping more clients get on the path to financial independence.

What are you fighting for?

What type of leader do you want to become?

What type of lifestyle do you want to provide for your family.

Most importantly…what type of legacy do you want to leave behind.

Drop what type of person you want to become?

A little about me for those who are new here.

I love my family, a good workout, a strong cup of coffee, and booking the next trip. 😂

I’m competitive, a little sarcastic, and pretty straightforward. I believe in working hard, treating people right, and surrounding myself with people who want to grow.

Life’s too short to spend it doing things that don’t make you happy.

If we have something in common, stick around. 🤝🏻

$150,000 in life insurance sounds like a lot. But is it enough?

A common rule of thumb is to have life insurance protection equal to 10 times your annual income.

So if you’re making $60,000 a year, that’s $600,000 in coverage as a starting point.

Of course, your family’s actual needs depend on your debts, expenses, savings, and future goals.

The goal isn’t just to have life insurance. It’s to have enough to protect the people depending on you.

📌 Save this as a reminder to review your coverage.

Not sure if you have enough? DM me COVERAGE and let’s take a look.

I didn’t hate working. I just knew I wanted more options in life.

More control over my time, my schedule, and what I could build for myself.

That’s why I started part-time in financial services. No prior industry experience, just a willingness to learn something new.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something different, DM me WORK. Let’s connect.

How many times have you talked yourself out of doing something because you were afraid it wouldn’t work?

Starting something new is uncomfortable. So is looking back years later wondering what would’ve happened if you had just tried.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you take the first step.

Sometimes you just have to bet on yourself.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we forget to appreciate what we already have.

Things we once prayed for have become part of our everyday lives.

A little reminder to be grateful for how far you’ve come, even if you’re not where you want to be yet.

Life gets busy, but making time for family will always be a priority.

Between work, travel, and everything else going on, it’s moments like these that remind me what really matters.

Grateful for my mom and sister. Wouldn’t trade them for the world.

What’s the point of making more money if you never have time to enjoy it?

Don’t get me wrong, making money is great. But building a business has never been just about the money for me.

I didn’t get into business because I wanted to stop working. I wanted more control over my time, my schedule, and the ability to be present for the people who matter most.

Because at the end of the day, I don’t want to spend my life building something I never get to enjoy.

Ever have one of those days where the last thing you want to do is work out?

Today was one of those days.

It’s been a long day, and I could’ve easily skipped the workout. But we still showed up.

Not every workout is going to be your best. Sometimes just getting it done is the win.

Who else had to push themselves to get a workout in today? 💪🏻

Almost 4 years married. Communication is everything… and we’re still working on it. 😂

Jeff deserves a lot of credit for putting up with me. ❤️
