An old Italian tradition says the first swim of September is a chance to let the ocean take away what you no longer need the heaviness, the old shit, the things that have run their course and leave you with the good… I’m not Italian nor am I old but something about this resonates with me. So naturally I got in. Left some shit behind. Kept the good stuff. September, let’s fucking go. 🍋 #ilprimobagnodisettembre #oceantherapy #septemberreset #oceanlover by @brierley_b
A bee doesn’t waste time convincing a fly that honey is better than shit. So if you’re looking for me, I’m over here making honey 🤩 RIL @dollyparton 🥺 #sweetlife #sunrise #lover #dolly by @brierley_b
Highly recommend trying this with your siblings. Turns out we’re both just winging it, having fun & calling it a day 🤩😂 #sibling #supportlocal #challenge ✊ by @brierley_b

Little boys should hear this often. 🤍 I told him I was filming a trend for Instagram… Which was partly true. One day, he won’t need me to tell him who he is. Until then, I’ll keep reminding him. Kind. Brave. Strong. #myheart #parenting #lovehim by @brierley_b

My idea of a perfect Sunday… any season. The ocean speaks to my soul in a way nothing else does Calm. Wild. Unpredictable. Beautiful. Feels strangely familiar. 😏 Oh… and bubbles! Also any season 😂 #sunrise #saltwater #soulwork by @brierley_b
Was Auckland amazing… or am I amazing and I was in Auckland? 🤔💁🏽‍♀️ In all seriousness… this trip was a dream Good food. Great people. Time with my family. And plenty of reminders to stay curious and keep saying yes to new experiences. Until next time, Auckland. ✨🇳🇿 by @brierley_b
Protect your peace. Protect your magic. Not everyone is qualified to have an opinion on your life. Keep creating anyway. 🌊✨ #protectyourpeace #selfworth #growthmindset by @brierley_b
If you’ve ever wondered why I love fine dining so much… This is why. It isn’t just dinner. It’s creativity. It’s purpose. It’s storytelling. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from the ingredients to the service and for a few hours, you’re completely looked after. TALA was all of that. As someone who’s been slowly reconnecting with my Samoan heritage, experiencing the Fāgogo Journey made this so much more than a meal. Congratulations to Chef Henry Onesemo and the entire team on making history. Thank you for creating an experience I’ll never forget. 🤍🇼🇸 #finedining #michelinstar #AucklandEats #samoan #foodie by @brierley_b
