My girls chose to be princesses, but I went for the Evil Queen! I'm a sweetheart in real life, but sometimes it's fun to play the villain. Poisoning Snow White? Never! That's what costumes are for… being a little evil without actually being evil! by @brigittesaunders_model

Wisdom Through Travel
Episode 7th | Chicago, Part 1

My first time in Chicago was a beautiful mix of glamour, hard work, friendship, and unforgettable adventures!

From breathtaking skyline views at the Trump Hotel to delicious food, early workouts, and exciting photoshoots with my beautiful Brazilian friend, this trip reminded me how much I love what I do.

People often see the final modeling pictures, but there's so much more happening behind the scenes: discipline, preparation, creativity, laughter, and memories that last a lifetime.

And yes, sometimes a girl has to break her diet for something delicious!

My wisdom from Chicago: Work hard for your dreams, but never get so busy chasing success that you forget to enjoy the journey.

And believe me, the adventure is just getting started!

Chicago Part 2 coming soon!

Welcome, Fall. 🍂🤎

One of my favorite seasons of the year. I’ve always loved fall because there’s something about the beautiful changing colors, the cozy feeling, and the peacefulness of the season that makes my heart happy. It reminds me to slow down, appreciate the little things, and embrace every new season of life.

There’s something so beautiful about watching nature change and realizing that change can bring its own kind of beauty. 🍁✨

Here’s to cozy moments, grateful hearts, beautiful colors, and new memories.

Hello, Fall… I’m so happy you’re here. 🍂🧡

Some celebrations are fun. Others become memories you know you'll carry forever.
This was the last day of Oktoberfest in Munich, and after a full week of celebrating, I thought I knew what to expect.
I didn't.
Inside the tent, thousands of people were singing, dancing, laughing and raising their glasses together. I drank my liter of Oktoberfest beer, sang some of my favorite songs, danced with my friends and definitely started feeling that beer!
But my favorite part came at the end.
Watching the final celebration, seeing the waitresses join in, and looking around as everyone raised their sparkling lights while singing together was something I'll never forget.
For a few moments, a tent filled with thousands of people somehow felt like one big community.
That's what I find so beautiful about Oktoberfest. Yes, there's beer. Yes, there's a LOT of partying. But underneath all of it is a tradition that brings people together year after year to celebrate their culture.
And apparently one liter of beer wasn't enough adventure for me...
because afterward I convinced my friend to get on a ride that took us high above Munich.
I was terrified.
But when I looked down and saw the lights of the festival and the city beneath us, I knew immediately:
This is going to be one of those memories.
Travel keeps reminding me that beautiful moments don't last forever.
Eventually the music stops.
The lights go out.
The celebration ends.
But some nights, you carry with you for the rest of your life.

Some places you visit. Others become part of your story.
Munich is one of those places for me.
I once lived in Germany, so traveling back from the United States to Munich wasn't simply another vacation. It was returning to a city that had once been part of my everyday life—and what better time to return than Oktoberfest?
This time, we were also celebrating my friend's birthday.
We put on our Dirndls, joined the crowds, celebrated inside one of the incredible Oktoberfest tents, laughed, danced on the tables... and yes, I somehow finished that entire liter of beer.
But underneath all the fun, coming back reminded me of something I hadn't really thought about before:
You can return to the same place, but you never return as exactly the same person.
The streets may be familiar. The traditions may still be there. The music can bring back memories you thought you'd forgotten.
But life has happened in between.
And maybe that's one of the beautiful things about traveling back to places that once meant something to us—we don't only rediscover the place.
We get to meet the person we've become since we left.
And yes... some traditions are definitely worth coming back for.

I think the 80s were one of my favorite decades. Everything was so colorful, people had the best hairstyles, and my favorite music is from the 80s. Even many of the movies I still love watching today are from that decade.
So, of course, I had to join today’s trend and see what I would have looked like in the 80s.
Maybe I wouldn’t have looked that different from how I do today, because I still love wearing vibrant colors, doing my hair and makeup perfectly, spending time at the beach, and listening to 80s music.
I think a little bit of the 80s has always stayed with me.
What do you think about me in the 80s? Which look is your favorite?

Wisdom Through Travel Episode 4— Tulum, Mexico Part 2

This trip started with modeling, but some of my favorite memories happened when I stepped away from the camera.

From experiencing a traditional cleansing ceremony and enjoying freshly handmade tortillas and Mexican dancing, to finally standing in front of the incredible Chichén Itzá and exploring a beautiful cenote with my friends—this day gave me so much more than photographs.

And, of course, I couldn't leave Mexico without a few more photoshoots!

Travel keeps reminding me to stay curious, try something different, laugh with the people around me, and appreciate the opportunity to experience a place beyond what we see in pictures.

These are the moments that become my stories.

I'm Brigitte Saunders, and this is Wisdom Through Travel.

Because every journey leaves us with a story... and every story leaves us wiser.

A little different from my usual modeling and travel posts...

Just me having the BEST time singing and dancing at the Hilary Duff concert!

Sometimes you don't need a photoshoot, a destination, or a plan—you just need good music, a song you know every word to, and a night where you can simply have fun and be yourself.

If you catch me singing like nobody's watching... just let me live my moment.

What’s one artist you would absolutely lose your voice singing along to?

$A photograph captures a fraction of a second, but getting there is all about movement. One pose becomes another, the photographer keeps shooting, and somewhere in between… we find the shot. A little look at me working in front of the camera during my modeling trip to Mexico. I love seeing the moment behind the final photograph almost as much as seeing the finished result. Which do you prefer seeing—the posing process or the final photos? #BrigitteSaunders #ModelingBTS #BehindTheScenes #ModelLife #Mexico Tulum ModelingJourney by @brigittesaunders_model$
