6 years ago… unfortunately I don’t have many photos before 2020. I wish I took more when I first started training (or at least didn’t delete absolutely everything almost immediately 🤦🏼‍♀️) by @brittanyamberjones

I love comp day and over the years I’ve competed so many times in so many different sports that I’ve got a pretty good system for what works best for me and my clients 👇
- Keep food simple. I like easy to digest, quick carbs. Honey & rice cakes are my go to
- Stay hydrated. It’s easy to get caught up on the day and forget to stay on top of this, electrolytes powders can really come in handy
- Spread out your caffeine!! I like to make a relatively strong pre workout drink with extra water so I can sip on it throughout the day
- Rest when possible. For strength competitions you are asking a lot of your body so if you have time between heats, put your feet up, pop some headphones on and chill out
- Remember to take photos and enjoy the day. You’ve worked so hard all of prep for this day and no matter how you perform, you’ve earned the right to enjoy it

There really is nothing quite like the atmosphere of a competition. If you’re interested in joining the team, message @bulletproofbyb 💪 by @brittanyamberjones
