36. Now that I’ve recovered from two weeks of birthday celebrations I can take a moment to reflect on what that means.

Friends have asked how I feel about this birthday, and honestly, I feel really great about it. Maybe because, for the first time, I’m not worried about what’s coming next.

As a Virgo who normally plans every part of my life, this feels incredibly liberating and I’m excited to see what unfolds. by @brittrod

Had the best weekend with @dani_yelleee. We actually said this every time we did a cheers. Drinking #tous ❤️#maine by @brittrod

Six months ago I packed up my life in New York and moved to Maine for a temporary optometry contract. It has already changed me in so many ways but the most important lesson I’ve learned is that burnout doesn’t have to be the cost of success. Sometimes, it just means something needs to change. For anyone who has ever looked at the life they’ve worked so hard to build and thought, “Is this it?” I’m on this journey with you. ❤️

“So the girls got together and said ‘we are coming back from this vacation rested’ and they did.”

New Years in the Grand Caymans was perfection. We started off 2026 with a beach rave and spent the rest of the vacation eating, sun napping, and snorkeling. What a perfect girls getaway ❤️ @lissygrams @raani by @brittrod

Returning to the place I call home. It gave my heart and soul everything I needed.

A self-appreciation post:

As I look at these photos, I realized I'm unapologetically myself- always.

I love a good dance floor, I live in the moment, and yes, I’ll probably be running late. by @brittrod

Introducing Dr. Alyssa Rodriguez, PhD in Neuroscience.

“When you pray, you’re answered
You walk through life just like a dancer
If I had my way, everyday would be a parade

Ooh, I adore you
Ooh, I adore you

And I pray, pray you never lose your star
I’m so proud, proud of all that you are” by @brittrod

Grateful that I was able to witness @arielmorr and @adrian__ludwig ‘s wedding. Their love for each other is palpable and visible and I wish you guys so many years of happiness.

Switzerland was an absolute dream. Beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The landscapes were truly unreal. One of the best parts was being able to share this experience with these gals. Cheers to creating new memories with old friends. by @brittrod

My first show at red rocks absolutely surpassed all expectations. Skrillex gave us all he had: new album, old bangers, remixes. I literally danced from the moment he started until the last song. He owes me NOTHING.

During the show, I had a moment of deep appreciation about how lucky I am, we are, that we can do these things. Take flights for shows on a Tuesday. Do the things we want to do, just because we can. My 20 year old self would have never imaged this beautiful life I’ve created.

And there are no better friends to do it with than these two humans.

Started the new year in my unofficial second home. San Diego filled my soul in ways that I cannot begin to describe. Always grateful to live all facets of my life in one place: concerts, outdoor hikes, farmers markets, great food and even more amazing friends. #sandiego #nye #propercrssd #torreypines #innoutburger #watergrillsandiego by @brittrod
