POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Their lives were supposed to end at the shelter. But there’s no way we’d let that happen. 🤍

I saw their video one night and even though I’ve only ever pulled from Devore once, how can you possibly turn your back on the thought of 10 lives, all being lost at a cold shelter? 😰😔❤️‍🩹

Tricia from @brixiesrescue (who is amazing btw!!!!!!!) and I talked through 100 different ways of how to save this family. It all came together this morning, it was such a blissful day.

Thank you @iloverescue for posting their video!!!! 🤍

And to follow this families journey, follow @brixiesrescue 🙏🏼🤍 these puppies are making it to incredible hands. They are so beyond lucky. Thank God. What a day. We did it.

❤️🐾 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM BRIXIES RESCUE! 🐾❤️

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who recently stepped up to help us during our urgent time of need. Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we were able to make the $900 payment we desperately needed. We truly cannot thank you enough for helping us through such a difficult time. 🙏❤️

Although we were able to meet that urgent need, Brixies Rescue still needs your support! We are continuing to raise funds for spay and neuter procedures, medical expenses, and the food and essential supplies our animals need every single month.

The animals in our care depend on us for everything, including:
🐾 Spay and neuter procedures
🏥 Veterinary visits, medications, and medical treatments
🐶 Dog and cat food
🐱 Puppy and kitten necessities
🧼 Cleaning supplies, litter, and other daily essentials
❤️ Emergency medical care when an animal needs it

As a foster-based rescue, our work doesn’t stop once an animal is saved. Their care is ongoing, and the expenses add up quickly. Every month, we must make sure our animals have full bellies, safe and clean environments, and access to the medical care they deserve.

If you would like to continue helping Brixies Rescue, donations can be sent through:

💚 Venmo: @BrixiesRescue
💙 PayPal: brixiesrescue@icloud.com

Amazon wishlist : Link in bio 💙

Every dollar makes a difference, whether it helps pay for a spay or neuter, medication for a sick animal, a bag of food, or everyday necessities. No donation is too small.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post to help us reach others who may be able to contribute. Every share, donation, and kind gesture helps us continue our mission.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has supported us, especially during our recent hardship. Your kindness reminds us that we are not alone in this mission. ❤️

Please continue to stand with Brixies Rescue. The animals are counting on us, and we are counting on our community. 🐾❤️

🚨 URGENT: HELP BRIXIES RESCUE KEEP A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS! 🚨

We never imagined having to make a post like this, but unfortunately, we are struggling deeply financially, and time is running out. 💔

We are currently one month behind on rent, and if we cannot come up with $900 by October 11th, we will receive an eviction notice. This is not just our home — it is also the home of the foster animals currently in our care.

If we lose our home, our own pets and our fosters will be left without a roof over their heads. The thought of all these animals losing their safe place is absolutely heartbreaking.

Unfortunately, we have been hit hard by a large veterinary bill, outstanding debt from previous veterinary care, and other essential expenses. While we are working overtime and doing everything possible to gather the funds, we still have to provide food and other necessities to keep every belly full and every animal healthy.

We would never ask for help if we had another option. We know times are hard for everyone, but we are desperately asking our community to please come together for us during this difficult time.

🙏 Our immediate goal is $900 by October 11th to help keep a roof over our heads and the animals in our care. We are happy to provide proof of the outstanding rent, payment documentation, and communication with our landlord to anyone who would like verification of our situation. We want to be completely transparent about what we are facing.

❤️ Ways to donate:

🌐 Website: https://brixiesrescueinc.net
💚 Venmo: @BrixiesRescue
💙 PayPal: brixiesrescue@icloud.com

Every single dollar makes a difference. If you cannot donate, please share this post. You never know who might be able to help.

Please help us keep our home standing, our fosters safe, and our animals cared for. They depend on us, and right now, we need our community more than ever.

Please don’t let our animals lose their safe place because we couldn’t get through this financial hardship alone. Every donation, share, and kind word means more than you know.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Brixies Rescue. 🐾💔 by @themcdonoughrescue

🚨 URGENT — BRIXIES RESCUE NEEDS YOUR HELP 🚨

We are barely scraping by right now. 💔 It has become extremely difficult for our rescue to even provide food for the animals currently in our care, let alone cover their medical needs.

We have already closed our doors to new intakes because of our financial situation, limited fosters, and everything our team is currently facing. We don’t want to shut down completely, but we desperately need help to keep going.

We currently need help getting several animals spayed/neutered and vaccinated, along with covering food and other necessary medical care.

💔 Star is one example. When Star was returned to us, she was underweight, not spayed, and had no updated vaccines. Unfortunately, the adopter did not honor our adoption contract, and now it is up to Brixies Rescue to get everything taken care of.

Unfortunately, no matter how much we vet people or how thorough our adoption process is, things like this can still happen. But when an animal comes back to us needing help, we don’t turn our backs on them. ❤️

🙏 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY NOW.

🐾 IMPORTANT Brixies Rescue Update 🐾

With heavy hearts, Brixies Rescue Inc. has made the difficult decision to pause all new animal intakes until further notice.

This decision is not one we made lightly. Due to financial difficulties, limited foster availability, and one of our directors currently facing medical difficulties, we have reached a point where we need to prioritize the animals who are already depending on us.

❤️ Our current animals are NOT being abandoned.

Every animal currently in Brixies’ care will continue to:
🐾 Be fostered and cared for
🐾 Receive necessary medical care and rehabilitation
🐾 Remain available for adoption when they are ready
🐾 Receive the love, attention, and support they deserve

We simply cannot responsibly continue taking in more animals when our current resources are stretched so thin. Taking a step back now allows us to focus on giving the animals already in our care the quality of care they deserve.

We know this may be disappointing to those who reach out needing help, and we truly wish we could say yes to every animal. Unfortunately, rescue has limits, and knowing when to pause is part of responsible rescue.

💙 We still need our supporters now more than ever.

If you would like to help us continue caring for the animals currently depending on Brixies, you can donate:

💰 Venmo: @BrixiesRescue
📦 Amazon Wishlist: Link in our bio

Every donation, wishlist purchase, share, adoption application, and kind message makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to stand behind Brixies Rescue, our fosters, volunteers, adopters, and most importantly, the animals. We may be pausing intakes, but we are not giving up on the animals already counting on us. 🐾💙

💔 STILL NO INTEREST IN MEOWISE.

We honestly don’t understand how this sweet boy is still waiting. 😔

Meowise has been waiting MONTHS for someone to choose him, and yet we continue to receive little to no interest. Not even serious inquiries. 💔

Meowise is:
🐾 An adult cat
🐾 FIV/FeLV negative
🐾 Good with other cats
🐾 Good with dogs
🐾 Deserving of a loving forever home
🐾 Ready to finally be someone’s family

He has spent far too long waiting for the day someone sees him and says, “That’s my cat.”

We know adult cats are often overlooked for kittens, but Meowise has so much love to give. He doesn’t need to be passed over again. He needs someone willing to give him a chance. ❤️

🏠 Meowise is still looking for his forever home.

If you’ve been considering adding a cat to your family, PLEASE consider Meowise. And if you can’t adopt, sharing his post could be the share that finally reaches his person. 🙏

📩 Adoption applications:

Please don’t let Meowise spend another month waiting. 💔🐾

🚨 MISTY STILL HASN’T BEEN ADOPTED — WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

This is honestly heartbreaking. 💔 Misty has been waiting and waiting for someone to finally see her for the wonderful dog she is, but she continues to be overlooked.

Now, we have an urgent situation. Misty’s amazing foster has a medical procedure scheduled in November and, unfortunately, will no longer be able to continue fostering after that. That means Misty needs to find her forever home before then.

We do NOT want Misty to be forced into another stressful transition simply because the right family hasn’t found her yet. She deserves stability, love, and a family who will choose her and never look back. ❤️

🏡 Misty is still searching for her forever family.

Please don’t let her be the dog everyone scrolls past. Sometimes the dogs who are overlooked the longest are the ones who become the most special part of your family.

If you have been thinking about adopting, please consider Misty. If you can’t adopt, please SHARE this post. Her future depends on people helping us get her seen.

📩 Interested in Misty? Please submit an adoption application through Brixies Rescue.

🐾💔 MISTY IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME…

Seriously… why is this girl being overlooked? 😭

Misty is still searching for the family who will finally see what we see in her. She is such a wonderful dog and deserves so much more than being passed by time and time again.

She’s the kind of dog who just needs someone to give her a chance — someone willing to look beyond her being another face in a rescue post and realize that she could be their perfect dog. ❤️

We don’t understand how she’s still waiting. She deserves a couch, a family, a warm bed, and someone who promises her that she’s finally home. 🏡🐶

Please don’t let Misty continue to be overlooked.

Share her. Tag your friends. Tag someone looking for their next best friend. Her forever family could be seeing this post right now. 🥺❤️
