This project started as something I wanted for my own son, and now I’m turning it into something much bigger.

I’m going to share the wins, the mistakes, the changes, and everything that goes into building it from the ground up.

Quick reflex guide:

Palmar grasp- put a finger in a baby’s hand and they will close down on it. Should integrate between 4-6 months

Moro reflex- simulate falling backwards or startle and a baby’s arms shoot up. Should integrate between 3- 6 months.

Asymmetric tonic neck reflex- when a baby’s head is turned, they go into a fencer posture. Should integrate between 5-7 months.

There are many other reflexes that we will talk about in the future!

I’ve spent years studying the developing brain and helping kids reach their potential. But becoming a first-time dad gave me an entirely new perspective.

There is SO much that influences how a child’s brain develops, yet most parents are never taught about it.

From movement and sensory experiences to nutrition, sleep, environment, and everyday interactions, the developing brain is constantly being shaped by the world around it.

And I want to make understanding that science accessible to EVERY parent.

That’s why I’m building @brody_app 🧠🌱

A developmental platform for parents with children from birth to age five, designed to turn the science of neurodevelopment into simple, practical things you can do every single day.

I genuinely believe this could change the way the WORLD approaches childhood development.

🚨 COMMENT “WAITLIST” to get priority access AND unlock exclusive founding-family pricing before we launch to the public!

We’re still building everything behind the scenes, but I want to bring you along for the journey. Those on our waitlist will be the first to hear about updates, sneak peeks, and our official launch!

Welcome to the journey! ❤️ by @brody_app

If you’re new here 👋 this is brody.

I’m building the developmental platform I wish existed when my son was born.

Something that helps parents better understand what is happening in their child’s developing brain and body, what to focus on right now, what they can actually do at home and if someone is falling behind, activities you can do to help catch them up.

It’s not going to be another milestone tracker, a giant library of random activities, or information to overwhelm parents.

The goal is to make something that is organized, practical and will grow through your child’s development.

I’ve spent my career working with kids with developmental delays, autism, brain injuries, and neurological challenges.

Then I became a dad.

And I started looking at everything completely differently.

So I decided to build what I couldn’t find.

I’m building it day by day, and I’m taking you along for the entire process.

If you’re the kind of parent who is a little obsessed with giving your child the best possible foundation for development, follow along.
