EV appreciation post
Weather Or Not (2018)
Unlearning 2 (2025)
Evidence was always in my list of artists I have a very high regard for. Since the early days with Dilated Peoples till now, he's an artist who always keeps pushing the culture forward and has an extreme devotion to the art form.
Those two records don't represent to the fullest the amount of time I've spent listening to his music, but Weather or Not has to be my all time favorite.
Definitely needed Cats & Dogs and The Weatherman LP too, either way that's what I had atm.
Ev put on an amazing show the other day in Thessaloniki, it was a night to remember! by @brokeboispinnin

Larry June x 2 Chainz x The Alchemist - Life is Beautiful (2025)
One of my most listened albums last year. Larry June and 2 Chainz surf all over Alchemist's productions making this an instant vibe, especially for the summer.
Signed by my favorite uncle @alanthechemist at his latest show in Athens together with DJ Premier🥹

Rome Streetz - Kiss the Ring (2022)
I genuinely fell in love with this album from the very first time. Although I was a bit late discovering Rome Streetz (thank god for Westside Gunn), his music sticked with me immediately. The razor sharp cadence and his whole rhyming style is beyond great, making him to stand out on every track he taps in.
Needless to say much about Conductor's productions on this one, every joint here is ear candy material. It's definitely worth the hype and one of the best Griselda records releases since 2020.
Huge s/o to @katrami_records for the greatest deal oat! by @brokeboispinnin

al.divino x Big Ghost Ltd - Two Nights in Marrakesh (2022)

Only a few albums represent in the best possible way the relation between their vital components, meaning the album cover, the title and everything in between. Al.divino makes only such albums.
Two Nights in Marrakesh sounds exactly what it looks like. Although I got the alternate cover it still does. Big Ghost sets the tone for the whole album with productions that literally take you to this place. Vino dresses them up in the most suitable way, using his distinctive tone and being all over the place.
Classic material right here! by @brokeboispinnin

Boldy James x Real Bad Man - Killing Nothing (2022)
This one was always in my top 3 Boldy projects oat and probly my favorite RBM-Boldy album so far.
Boldy's delivery fits perfectly with the productions RBM made on this one.
What I like the most on this album and in general is that Boldy always manages to maintain a unique sound with every producer he collabs with, while keeping up with his signature style. by @brokeboispinnin

Westside Gunn - 12/HWHXII (2025)
Since my dumb ass injury won't let me see FLYGOD live, it's about right time to post this before y'all European collectors get everything signed😭
12 is by far my favorite WSG project from his 2025 run, so many dope tracks in there.
Main contributors on this album besides WSG are Stove God Cooks and Estee Nack, two of my all time favorites (Brother Tom Sos deserves his flowers obv. too).
This project has imo the perfect blend of WSG's capabilities as it features some ballad type anthems and also other dusty and gritty tracks we're more used to.

Conway the Machine - Reject 2 (2015)
Gotta be one my favorite Conway projects. Fully produced by Daringer and with guest appearances by Westside Gunn, Roc Marciano and more, this album has a totally gritty and raw sound from start to finish. Imo it aged much better than other Conway's projects from his early era.
S/o and huge thanks to @orbersvinyl for this one🙌🏻

Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 4 (2022)
Benny's third studio album and one of his most solid projects till this day. With productions by Daringer & The Alchemist-a combo that always fits just right with Benny-this album has 0 skips.
THE BUTCHER COMIN🗣️ by @brokeboispinnin

ScHoolboy Q - Oxymoron (2014)
This album has a special place in my heart, I listened to it hella lot during my formative years and after every listening it gives off the same feeling of nostalgia.
The storytelling on this album is just wild, Q takes you by the hand and takes you a trip to his world full of struggles and willingness to do anything for the sake of his love for his daughter. Combined with an overall haunted and grimy production style it established Q's gangsta sound that most of his fans preach for.
Easily top contender for one of the best hip-hop albums of the 2010s. by @brokeboispinnin

Roc Marciano - Mt. Marci (2020)
One of my favorite Marci projects. This album is such an emotional rollercoaster, it almost feels like a thriller movie. With a remarkable list of guest appearances like Action Bronson, Schoolboy Q, Stove God Cooks and more, it has a tracklist varying from some claustrophobic and experimental tracks Marci's known for to others easier to digest.
Marci's artistry should be studied plus he'll always be the big father of the modern era hip-hop we all love! by @brokeboispinnin

Stove God Cooks - Reasonable Drought (2020)
I love this album so much I can't believe yet I got this on vinyl and on such a wonderful pressing too. Fully produced by Roc Marciano this album is a perfect example of how modern hip-hop records can still sound totally raw without using the classic formula. Stove's melodic approach fits perfectly with Marci's production and literally every track stands out on its own without sounding repetitive. Modern day classic!❄️🧱 by @brokeboispinnin
