The 31st @naacptheatreawards made me a NAACP Nominated Choreographer and Dancer. Longer post coming soon, but this dress deserves some shine because it represented my glow from the inside out. I’ve always loved studying and playing with fashion and beauty, and it’s been a journey to love and embrace my natural curls. So styling myself for this moment gave me extra confidence to show up authentic, grounded and present to accept my flowers that feel like they’ve been growing for a long time! 💫 by @brookeivory

This year for my 40th I wanted to celebrate with my village. I love to throw a party and the 70s Soul Train theme brought everyone to a place where we danced the night away feeling full of joy, life and love. What a night! 🪩 Thank you @skr.video.prod for capturing and being part of the joy. by @brookeivory
